iStick 30W + Plume Veil rda

Have anyone have tried this combination and what you think of this combo?
I'm just thinking to get iStick 30W and would like to use it with good rda.

I havnt used that particular setup, but have used a hana clone with a plume. I did a single coil 3mm ID 26 gauge at 1.2 ohms. at 30 watts it was very nice. Great flavor and nice dense clouds

What kind of gauge should I use for making coil under 1ohm(maybe .7)? Im just new in this all coil making and would like to test out different gauges on that plume veil to understand which one ohm coil i like most.

Maybe they know how 20W( maybe 30w) works with coil under 1 ohm?

The Istick 30 watt will fire down to .4 Ohms. This isnt bad for a Kanger Sub-tank but not going to get a dripper to a warm vape if you use lower builds. I mostly run regulated mod and on a 30 watt device I build drippers at 1.6-1.8 to be comparable to running on a mech. This is not going to win any cloud comps but has been a nice experience for me. I built a 30 watt squonker that I run with a Magma BF at 1 OHM for a great flavor rig.

I would maybe try 24 gauge to get under 1 ohm while still having some decent surface area, but I will say this, With regulation, surface area is king, higher ohm builds will yield a better vape, IMO, it will be warmer, denser and more flavorful. The voltage increase you can get with regulated mods makes ramp up time a non issue (to a point) so all that coil/saturated wick contact = great vape

I think im going for 24gauge 0.5mm kanthal a1 wire and make dual coil for plume veil so it's not overheated and does not make that burnt taste. Thats what i think and calculated something like that on steam-engine. What you think guys?
