istick 50 autofiring and sticking fixes???

I was recently given an eleaf istick 50 watt mod box by a friend who got a special edition one! The only thing is that it has been sticking when I am vaping and it has started to autofire when I am not even using it? I know that I read somewhere else on here that this can be fixed fairly easy and was wondering if anyone can help in with this please??? If its not something that can be explained or something please let me know?!? Thanks for any help you can give me!!!

Could be a lot of things going on, the chip malfunctioning, the switch, I wouldn't use it, I guess your kind of stuck because it was given to you. Big bummer.

Sorry to say but possibly the best way to fix it is to get a another mod.

Seems like a few times every week we see something about the Isticks of just about every model doing this.

The 50 watt has a known issue. Probably safer to get another one. That said, mine behaves very welll, but I think you might be unlucky. If it's still under warranty I'd try getting it replaced.

Buddy of mine had an entire shipment with issues, apparently eleaf had a bad run and is taking care of them with no questions asked.
I would contact them and they'll probably swap it out.

Thank's goody that eleaf is doing that. Because smoktech ain't doing nothing. For there m80 plus auto firing prombles.

Get a can of electronic spray cleaner (the type used to clean PC boards) and turn the mod upside down and give the switch a few sprays with the included straw/tube with the electronic cleaner. That will flush the crap out of the switch. Let it evaporate for 5 minutes and then go ahead and use it. Simple fix.
