Hello everyone. To start off, I just want to wish everyone a Happy New Year.
I'm running low on flavors, so I ordered a "flavor kit" of 10 different flavors from Liquid Barn. A friend of mine introduced me to a couple of their flavors recently, and I was pretty damn impressed. I got my friend started in both vaping and DIY. He was a 30 yr 2 pack per day smoker now coming up on a little over 2 1/2 years of being smoke free. He rents a couple of rooms out, and his tenants told him about Liquid Barn. I tried the green apple, and the orange banana that he made. Both were delicious. He and I ordered our PG, VG, and nic together, so I know my finished juice will taste exactly the same as his did. His tenants gave rave reviews for quite a few of the other LB flavors - the root beer in particular, so I'm super excited to taste the rest of them. If they are even close to being as good as the other two, I am going to be super happy. The flavor kit is $4 off right now, so I'm getting 10 15ml bottles of flavor for $25.99 ($35.31 incl. shipping) isn't too bad. Here's what I got:

And... as promised. Some general BS. lol. Lately, all of my juices have been coming out great. I really don't understand because I have become very 'careless' when mixing. I pretty much guess on everything these days. I use the same 3 syringes for every flavor and I never rinse them between flavors. Here's a little tip. If you plan on reusing your syringes, never store them fully depressed. When you go to use it next time, you might find that the little rubber plunger cap is stuck to the bottom of the syringe. You try to pull it up, and the plastic stem pops out leaving the cap behind. You can use something to push it up from the bottom, but anything small enough to fit into the hole is also small enough to puncture the cap when you try to push it up. When you put your syringes away after a mixing session, pull the plunger up about 1/4" first. When the plunger sticks in storage, you can simply push it back down to un-stick it. It's been months since I've had to throw away a stuck syringe. I measure my nic with a syringe - ~.1ml per 10ml of juice, and I use syringes for the flavors as well. I really don't sweat the measurements. Strong flavors get about .1ml per 10ml of juice, and weak flavors ~1-2 ml per 10ml. I put 8ml VG in a 15ml bottle, and a little under 6 in a 10ml bottle. I just top off the empty space with whatever amount of PG it takes to fill it. For minor flavors in a mix, I just count drops using my knowledge of how potent the flavoring is to determine how many to use. Ever since I started mixing this way, the taste of my juice has improved tremendously. I no longer tell folks who ask to taste my vape, "It's probably not very good. I make my own, and I never buy anything to compare it with. It tastes better than a Marlboro". Now, I just hand it over and wait. I haven't seen any funny faces lately.
