I've gone crazy?!

Many times I thought that I've become crazy but this time I'm pretty sure. Please someone enlighten me.

I got my new FA/Pur flavors and started mixing some of my recipes I've used to make with tfa/cap prior. Of course I changed the percentages and all that to accommodate the new flavors.

All these recipes taste fine in my RDA's, the moment I put them in an RTA or sub ohm tank, I get nothing but harshness. I wouldn't even know what flavor I'm vaping since my body tries to fight the harshness lol.

I first thought maybe its too high of flavor percentages, so made the same with lower values. Same issue.
made it with higher percentages, same outcome.

Tested my VG/pg without nic, with nic, all as standalone to out rule that this is the issue.

Tested on dead rabbit, goon, nudge and yes even limitless RDTA plus but just dripped on it. Amazing flavor, super smooth and no harshness.

Tested it then in the kensei, Aromamizer, tfv8, serpent and alpha one. Harsh. And we talking eye watering harshness. Tried lower watts, higher watts and all that jazz. Just gets worse lol

All of them are freshly build in dual coil setup, with staggered fused Clapton's, @0.17 ohm, 45-55 watt, except the tfv8 but I wasn't holding my breath on that one, its smok after all, just wanted to see the outcome.

So what am I missing here? Someone else experienced that issue and found a solution? Its driving me insane because it makes no sense lol.

I think the problem started with the phrase rta

I don't know what's going on. You might have to go back to the companies that work for you. I don't test in RDAs. I run everything through griffins and baby beasts usually cuz thats mainly what I use.

Yes I did steep them, as well as single flavor tested them. I dialed down the FA honey a bit and let it stir 45 minutes in comparison to the 25 minutes I've used to do prior. Seems to have fixed it, just so weird, would assume that it should taste like ass in the RDA as well. Oh well, at least this method fixed it and now there's no harsh when vaping it in RTA/sub ohm.

I've found a massive difference between them myself. I'm at about 85% RDA usage now. I only use one type of tank for the other 15%. I thought my favorite tanks were very good at one time but they just can't beat out a good RDA.
