I've got some stuff coming in soon, am I good to go battery wise?

I've been vaping for 7 weeks and I've really gotten into it (stopped smoking the second I got my vape and haven't looked back). I went a little crazy on Monday (sweat deals IMO) and have some stuff flowing in Thursday.

I bought a bunch of VTC4s from IMR (hopefully this ended up being okay)
Also got some Efest IMR 18650 LiMn 2600mAh - 25A
Finally got a charger LUC V4

I got a couple boxes (Eleaf iStick TC100W and a Wismec Reuleaux RX200S) and I'm going to be using an Aspire Cleito tank (just sticking to the .4 ohm coils at around 50 watts, really like them) 98% of the time. I did however get a SMOK TFV8 and I wouldn't mind using that every now and again. I realize the TFV8 can use some pretty low ohm coils. Am I going to be more than safe using either of the batteries I listed above with the SMOK? I've seen several spots that list different amps for the VTC4 (some say 20A some say 30A).

I've been trying to learn as much as I can but a lot of info seems to be geared more toward folks that build mods and go super low ohm resistance. I'm still not sure what equation I'm supposed to used to know that I'm using a good enough battery and I'm still not sure what the real rating is supposed to be for the Efest batteries I bought or for the VTC4s. I appreciate the help. Just don't want to end up doing something stupid.

Welcome to the VU! :D
The Sony's will be fine for your setups, a honest 30A battery, perhaps the VTC5A would have been a good choice also, 2600mah and 25A.
I'm not a fan of Efest, they are rewraps and Efest always over rates their batteries. I do not use Efest.

well my 1st advice is to ask about stuff before buying it lol. so many times i see people come here and tell us what they purchased and ask if it'll be ok. It's better to ask first IMO.

anyway with that said, it's all regulated stuff so you should mostly be ok. I wouldn't use the efest batteries myself. The sony batteries are fine, but overall you would have been best off with some samsung 30q or LG Hg2 batts or samsung 25r Sony VCT5a Sony VCT6 LH HE4 etc.

The istick is a good little starter mod, it'ss run your clieto just fine. it's a pretty good starter set up. I still use my clieto, I'm using it right now actually lol

It's a tank i recommend a lot to people looking for a step up from their vape pens or going from MTL to DTL vaping. it's a nice little lower wattage DTL tank, cheap, has a lot of accessories available, and a few coil types that are cheap and easy to find. good choice of tanks for sure

The TFV8 is what it is, which is basically the best tank on the market for prebuilt coils as far as clouds and vapor production. and it coms with an RBA deck that is pretty good in case you ever get into building. But it's a power hog, and a juice eater so it'll blow through juice like crazy

The luc charger is fine

The RX200s is one i generally stay away from and never recommend. i know it's cheap and offers a lot of power but it's really not a good quality mod to be throwing 150+ watts at devices all the time plus the famous 510 pin of doom lol. You should be ok with it, i doubt it'll blow up in your hands or anything, just don't expect it to last you for a while. some people have them last for ever, some people have them die in months. their quality and quality control overall is not so good.

Overall it's not bad to start with by any means, I'd return the efest batteries for sure though, but they should be fine running your clieto at 50 watts with a .4 coil but i wouldn't use them in the rx200s. better off just exchanging them if you can

Thanks for the replies gang. Tar Heel, thanks for the vid, that one cleared some things up that most every other video never addressed.

Thanks to others that replied. I only got a couple of the Efest so I won't worry about using those. The VTC4s will be fine for my regular vaping needs and I went ahead and grabbed 3 of the LG HB6s in pink for whenever I feel like pulling out the SMOK TFV8. Otherwise 98% of my vaping will be at .4 ohms and 45ish watts so VTC4 for that stuff. I'll definitely check out the LG HG2 in the future though.

Now I have a much better idea on amps and CDR versus pulse rating. I'll know to double check for proper CDR and stick to that for IDing what I need in a battery.

You didn't need the hb6 it's just sacrificing battery life. The video is for mech mods. Regulated mods work different. You'd be fine with some Sony vct5a or samsung 25r or lg he4 batts. Even the hg2 or 30q would be fine. I run both those in my alien and g2 mods with a tfv8 tank and no issue

Lol yeah. Hb6 is the most safe 18650 battery out there.
If it makes you feel better I did the same thing before which is why I have 2 pairs of them
