James Franco may star as Multiple Man in a new Marvel film from Fox.
Sources have told IGN that Franco is in negotiations to star in a Multiple Man film that is currently in development. Deals are currently being made, and Jeremy Kramer will oversee the project for Fox.
Wonder Woman writer Allan Heinberg will reportedly pen the script, with Simon Kinberg and Genre Films, along with Franco and Ramona films producing it. The deal reportedly came out of another collaborative effort between Kinberg and Franco, The Hardy Men, a film that may see James and Dave Franco playing adult versions of the famous child detectives The Hardy Boys.
Multiple Man (aka Jamie Madrox) is a mutant in the Marvel universe that can duplicate himself, sometimes creating more than 50 clones. He was referenced in X2 and appeared in X-Men: The Last Stand, where he is described as having used his power to rob several banks simultaneously.
