just what the title says my ohms have been jumping around on pretty much every build ive made. cant seem to find a solution. i have a brand new xpro m80 plus 80 with a mutation x v3. im thinking it is a problem with my rda. i have made sure to tighten my screws down but no matter how tight they my ohms are still jumping. havent had any dry hits. i am pretty new to building so any advice for a newbie will be appreciated.

Almost sounds like your not getting a good connection from the bottom of the mutation to the m80. The spring loaded 510 pin on the m80 is adjustable. Maybe it needs to be brought up some. If you think its the Mutation try another atty on the m80 and see how that works. If you don't have another one stop in to the local vape shop and have them throw something on it to see how it works.

I had a similar problem my mutation. I replaced the screws and it seemed to fix the problem for me.

With the power off !!! Normally you just turn the center pin counterclockwise to bring it up and clockwise to bring it down. The specs on that box do say it's adjustable. Double check though with someone if you can like a local vape shop.

Check atomizer usually means there's no connection between the atomizer and the box which goes back to the spring pin adjustment. Provided the atty is good and the coils are correct and have good contact in the atty.

Sounds like you're using my old Sigelei 100w haha. Some regulated devices need SUPER tight connections. It's definitely some funny business with your 510 by the description you gave. The pin should be screwdriver friendly, give it a few spins and bring it up, even try bringing it up a little too far. I know my box had a sweet spot where i had to bring up the 510 just a mm or 2 too far and screw the atty down super tight. Otherwise it would do the EXACT same thing. Good luck, these problems are quite annoying :p

If it's not in fact adjustable, maybe it has somehow gotten stuck in a depressed state. Try GENTLY to pry up the pin with a precision flat head screwdriver.
If it is in fact adjustable you should see a slot in the pin for a flat head (some rare cases a Philips head) just like the 510pin on most rdas/or 510 tanks. If it's flat across the top of the pin it's not actually adjustable (manually anyway, it is because of the spring)
