Just got my new Snow Wolf 200 watt

My Matrix sub tank works like a dream on it. Now that that i have temp control i wanted to see if anyone has a preference on atty to use? Im thinking new plume veil or kennedy atty, or even the dotmod petri atty. i understand that with temp control that im not looking at clouds(cause the temp control only works up to 70 watts) but is the flavor really worth it?..or should i just get a new atty to blow clouds that compliments my new toy? Thanks in advance ImageUploadedByTapatalk1435199737.149705.jpg

man where to start,

Here's what I have learned with my VS DNA 40,

3 post attys are a tad less convenient for dual nickel builds, reason being your working with smaller gauge that is very soft so building dual coils and getting them tight can be tedious. But single coils are easy enough.

My dot mod has wonderful options for builds as you can wrap around the top posts for nice big single coil builds but dual coils can be again tedious due to the wire size again as the wire is very hard to get centered in the holes and nice and snug again due to the softness of the wire, this is on an authentic also, the clone might work better as the post holes are wayyyy smaller so might work better but not sure on this.

Tanks...oh how wonderful are tanks with a nickel build:) once you get a tank dialed in with a single coil you will be floored at the flavor and vapor that is produced from a working build.. It's amazing:)

I have found 4 post attys have the best options for dual coils as each post is for one lead and your not sharing post holes to leave the possibility of a loose wire even after snugging them down, once your tight you KNOW it's good to go and you can move on to the next one:)

This is with a 40 watt box though I rarely go higher than 30 watts at 450 degrees and it hits wonderfully so you have way more options with the 70 watt max.

As far as clouds.....not sure on this as its not my cup of tea, I will take flavor any day but you can save your massive wattage for standard builds and TC flavor builds, my advice get a couple attys and have one for each:)

I have been eyeballing this mod for a few so please do report back how it's working and again these are all my preference and personal findings and opinions do what works for you and have fun:)

I might add I loooooove my dot mod and you won't be disappointed but for clouds you might look at a doge or something with a bit more options for low ohm thicker gauge wire and massive airflow:)

so i have a question for someone with a 200w mod.

DO you actually use it that high? I am just not seeing a point of 200w

Havent thrown a dripper on it yet...however, even if i dont, i think of it as a 100 round drum for an assault rifle..do i need one? No, but its a 100 round drum for an assault riffle!!! Better to have and need, than to need and not have lol. I'll let you know when i give 200 watts a shot

You know this was my only thought for getting a 200w mod. "JUST IN CASE I NEED IT ONE DAY" but then i figured by the time they come up with a reason for a 200w the mod will be outdated.

No one NEEDS a 200 watt mod. To be honest no one NEEDS a 20 watt mod. Most vapers will never upgrade beyond an ego style battery and a protank equivalent. We buy mods because we're extremest, collectors, hobbyists, or vape addicts lol

Well Said!!! I own a "plethora" of mods that I've accumulated in the last year and 1/2. Right now I have 2 isticks, 30 and 50, Sigelei 150, IPV4 and Evic VT that are kind of in my rotation. But, I prefer my little 20 watt Egrip most of the time. I get great flavor, good vapor and it satisfies me, not to mention it is always in my pocket! But, there could be worse hobby's :)
