I got myself a kanger 75tc mini kit and i couldnt understand some things.
1. What coils can i use for Tc and what for VW?(just to clear thimgs out im not a native speaker of english)
2. What happens if i vape a coil that is only for tc and not for VW vica versa?
3. Currently i am using the cantal coil thst is 0.6 ohms and de mod says its 0.62 ohms is that a problem?
4. I can use the RBA with the prebiult cantal in tc and Vw as well? In the TC mode i can use it in the NC rifht?
5. Can i use the cantal in vw and tc?
6. Lets say i use Ni coil in Tc Ss what can happen will it explode or what?

I am very new to mods be gentle.

TC is only for nickel (Ni200), titanium, and sometimes stainless steel. Kanthal only works properly in power mode (vw).

The prebuilt RBA with kanthal should only be used in vw mode (it won't work properly in TC mode).

It's not a good idea to use nickel or titanium in vw mode - stick to TC for those!

TC settings if your mod has these symbols

Ti =Titanium wire
SS= Stainless Steel wire
Ni = Nickel wire

VW settings

Kanthal wire
Nichrome wire
Stainless Steel wire you can use in the VW setting also.

Not recommended to use Ti or Ni in the VW mode

Setting up Temperature Control for the first time is a lot easier than you think, and most of what you already know about configuring your vaporizer will still apply when using the Temperature Control (TC) feature. The very first thing you need to do is make sure your vaporizer is set to the proper Temperature Control Mode for the type of coil you are going to use in your Tank, RBA, RTA, or RDA. Depending on your vaporizer, it may have a single TC Vape Mode that supports both Nickel (Ni) and Titanium (Ti) coils, or it may have a specific Temperature Control Mode that must be set to support either Nickel (Ni) or Titanium (Ti) coils individually. The second thing you need to do after attaching the tank to your vape mod is to “lock in the base resistance” of the coil while at room temperature. Locking in the base resistance of the coil at room temperature provides the Temperature Control Vaping feature with critical information needed to function properly. It is very important to note that this step is critical in the setup process, otherwise the base resistance will be incorrect and Temperature Control readings would be rendered inaccurate. At this point, you can now set the recommended wattage for the coil you are using (check recommended wattage rating for coil on manufacturers’ website). The last and final step is selecting a temperature that your coil should not exceed in Celsius or Fahrenheit.

As with most vaporizer settings, it is always best to start low and work your way up, much like you did with the wattage, but this time it’s the maximum temperature of your coil that you’re setting. Common vaping temperatures are in the range of 200°C- 250°C / 392°F - 480°F, with the temperature usually set in increments of 5°C or 10°F. Since you now have control over the temperature of your coil, it is an easy task to dial-in that sweet spot on your favorite e-juice with relative ease. Your personal preference and taste will decide what temperature range works best for you, and since all e-juices are not created equal, the sweet spot will most likely vary from PG/VG blend to e-juice manufacturer.

But can i use the clapton coil in TC? in the NC section?

Sure if your clapton coil is made with Nickel wire, Titanium or SS then use the proper TC setting, Ni, Ti or SS symbol for that wire, if made of Kanthal then ONLY use VW.

it only says 0.5 clapton coil
The packaging/box doesn't say what it's made from? My GUESS would be kanthal, but I can't guarantee that. If it's Kanthal, it can only be used in VV/VW mode.

it says temperature control for most of the resistance wire in the market such as nickel titanium stainless steel nichrome or kanthal

The SSOCC clapton coil is kanthal - it will only work properly in wattage mode! (I use these in my Nebox at around 40-45 watts).

I'm not sure what you're saying? Use the clapton coils in wattage mode (not TC)!

So its only says clapton 0.5 ohms 18-60 wats if i remember correctly and my mod reads 0.62 ohms why?

Not a problem - coils are often not exactly the ohms they say! Start it at around 25 watts and work up until you get the flavor you like! Just double check your coil is properly screwed in.

and what happens if i tc with kanthal? or VW with tc coils?

You'll get very poor performance trying to use TC with kanthal. It's actually not safe to use VW with nickel or titanium due to the possibility of overheating causing toxicity!

WHat about SS and will it cause toxicity with kanthal?

You can use SS with either one - but you need an SS setting to get any sort of performance in TC mode. I use ss in vw mode all the time.

Kanthal isn't (apparently) toxic, so use it any way you like, although as I've said it doesn't work properly in TC mode.

I'm not sure what you mean.

I thought we were talking initially about the clapton coils that you would use in vw?

yes yes but the main topic is about kanger coils and in the kit they included 4 coils 1 is SS and on the box it says 0.5 SS (stainless steel TC) can i use that in VW or not?

ss coils can be used in VW!

It looks as if you have these coils:
    • 1 0.15ohm Ni200 SSOCC Coil
    • 1 0.5ohm Stainless Steel SSOCC Coil
    • 1 0.5ohm Clapton SSOCC COil
    • 1 RBA Mini Plus
The first coil should be used in TC only
The second coil can be used in either VW or TC (if you have a SS setting)
The third coil should be used in VW
The RBA probably comes with a prebuilt kanthal coil (VW) but you can always build it with wire for TC

26 awg nickel 5 wraps around the screwdriver that comes with the rba the cotton is the hardest part there are a ton of you tube videos I suggest watching multiple people because everyone does it different and you can try different ways and see which you like best that is how I learned how to do it now I need to try building something else

This mod does have settings for the usual titanium, nickel, SS but also has a nichrome setting . the nichrome setting can be used with kanthal. I have used it successfully. But usually just vw with kanthal anyway.

There is not any wattage adjustment on this mod with TC. Simply choose the wire type and set your desired temperature.

I can adjust my watts in tc mode it took me a minute to figure out how I have an istick 60w tc and when I first built a coil it was at 60w all the time and I didn't want it like that so I have to hold the button that you switch modes with and the adjustment button up or down and the watts changed thank God it vapes so much better for me and my build at 30-40 watts I don't know if yours is the same but I would think you can adjust your watts in tc mode. It is hard to not have it switch modes on you while your adjusting the watts and if you have big fingers like me it s even harder with those little buttons but it works

It is possible, but I don't think it does on the kanger. The wattage is automatically adjusted by the mod. Before firing, the screen says 75w. But when you fire the wattage jumps around to maintain the temperature. For example, i was playing with it in tc the other day and with a 5wrap coil at .6ish ohms set at 420deg it would start at like 24w and decrease to like 19w to maintain temp through the draw.

That's different then my istick. Mine stays at whatever I set it at I am running around 440 degrees at 31w.

I watched it threw my draw and it just staid where I set it and then said temp protection but it deemed to still be putting out vapor weird not sure what that means maybe that it was preventing it from overheating the juice past the temp setting. Not sure that was the first time I tried to watch while I took a drag you almost need a mirror lol.
