Kanger NEBOX?

Does anyone here have a Kanger NEBOX yet? This all in one Mod/Tank looks great on paper.

Replaceable 18650 Battery
60 Watts
USB Charging
Temp Control
10ml Capacity
Uses a new round OCC coil, but apparently the Square OCC coils will work
Includes an RBA
Very Compact
Delrin Drip Tip

I am interested in getting one, but I have a couple questions I'm hoping owners can comment on.

The tank can not be removed from the mod, so how do you clean it?
How is the Airflow for lung hits? Its my understanding the air flow is not adjustable.
Have you had any leaks??

Any comments would be appreciated.

I was tempted in one till I found out it doesn't have adjustable air control, don't know what they was thinking, but they have limited it to one way of vaping, I am a MTL vapor and can bet it is to airer for that, such a shame, as a good design apart from no AFC,

It's certainly not something I would ever want to own but I can see why others would like it. It's just too big, I don't like the non-adjustable airflow and worst of all, the stationary tank.

I am not sure if I would like the size of it either. I prefer smaller mods (like 40 Watt Istick size), but having the tank built in with just the drip tip sticking out does appeal to me. I won't know for sure until one of my local vape shops have them in stock and I can get a feel for myself. I am a direct lung vaper so I don't think the lack of airflow control will be a deal breaker for me as long as its airy. The fixed tank does concern me, on occasion I like to vape some mint juices, but getting rid of the mint flavor from my Subtank Mini can be a bitch. I am guessing it would be much harder to clean out of a fixed tank.

I'm sure Kanger will release 12 different versions so concerns will probably be addressed to some degree.

You know, the more videos I watch and reading I do on this thing, the more I like it. Or rather, the less the cons seem like deal breakers. Still not something I would typically be interested in but..

- The air flow is supposed to be a bit more airy than the subtanks. Which works for me since I always keep mine wide open.
- The new coils are supposed to be great and it works with the original occ's.
- The temp control seems to work real well.

The non removable tank is something I don't like but I've settled into a few flavors that I rotate but mainly stick with the OHW Milkman. Considering that I can certainly roles this could fill nicely. Hmmm, my intrigue continues to grow as I type this.

Got mine yesterday ! Love it feels smaller than my subox mini same width as it . The airflow is def like a sub tank wide open which I run anyways so No bother to me been vaping it since it arrived im pretty impressed !! Tank will last Ya a while if Ya chain vape too. batteries seem to not last as long as my subox could tht be cause of the temp control ? An no leaks whatsoever Battery cover threads def need some work tho all in all I think it's a good purchase !!

so someone finally is redoing the eGrip.....I love eGrips myself as long as the rba base is used...this looks a little bigger, more awkward....but if it works as well....I'd give it a try even though I'm basically settled....

My wife has had one two weeks now, and I started posting on it as soon as she walked in the door.
http://vapingunderground.com/threads/kanger-nebox-coming-soon.133093/

I'll start posting to this thread now.

I still intend to call the vape shop to see how they like it, now that they've been using them a while. As for my wife, she's gone through 1 1/2 tanks of juice and is still on her original atty. So I haven't had to mess with the RBA. There's one loose coil in the box... I can't tell if it's nickel, nichrome or what. Would be nice to know.

(I was really hoping to put off dealing with TC and anything other than Kanthal. Silly me.)

Here's a very thorough review. Things don't look all that impressive, especially the 1000° dry burn test and completely burning out TC coil heads once they get dry.

Interesting ... It's great for direct lung (me) I love subtank OCC coils... Interesting
If price is right I'll grab one...
At this point I find the subox nano more me.. Minus TC thou...
Maybe the evicVT mini
Or Kooper mini
In still scrambling my mind for my third reliable tank
I just want a device that hits 40 plus for my other tanks so ...
Unless price is very good I'll pass for right now... I think.
Love the white one looks so sharp

Mods are starting to become like smartphones. Once the smartphone market exploded, the demand necessitated a change in quality control standards. The acceptable level of problems with devices rose and rose in an effort to keep up with demand. The actual reason for this is that the majority of consumers are stupid when it comes to buying. I am sorry if anyone is offended by this, but the demand for everything technology related proves my point for me. Most people would rather have it now than wait till its ready. Now the same thing is happening with mods. It used to be that if you wanted to be successful, you had to create a demand. Demand was created partially by a lack of supply and partially by creating a good product. Now manufacturers only do about a quarter of the work. There is no more need to create a demand, because every moron out there wants something. Manufacturers spend less than half the time designing and perfecting, so they end up creating a product that works in theory and don't spend enough time testing it to make sure that there are no defects. They know they are going to sell units no matter what, so they don't care if you get a shitty product. They finally realized that while not every product is equal, money is always equal in the sense that everyone who buys a unit from the same retailer is going to pay the same price and once they've got your money, there is little chance you will do anything about it because most people would rather put up with the flaws of a product that they can have now than wait for a better one. Smartphones went from being business oriented to all in one devices. Now they have all in one mods. Anybody else see the pattern?

I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with owning a smartphone or a nice mod. I'm saying that where demand US d to be fueled by a lack of supply, it is now fueled by an overabundance of supply. People can have anything they want, instantly but are still convinced they have to buy an item before the next guy does. Well, I should say some people not all. The manufacturers and suppliers created this market with this type of demand, and consumers are playing right into it. That's why some preordered units become obsolete before they are even in the buyers hands.

I got mine. I love it. The threads I. The BRASS battery cap are super fine and it threads into what looks like steal. I haven't had any big problems with it. You just have to do lefty loosey until it drops into the threads then tighten. The airflow is good and enough. Temp control with the nickel coil is awesome. Great clouds and flavor. I usually don't have to fill it till the end of the day. If I want to change flavors, I just use a cup with hot water and carefully rinse it out. The tank itself IS plastic it feels like, so I'm alittle iffy about some acidic fruity juices. I definitely think it's worth owning. IMHO, I feel that functionality wise, it shits on the billet box. Definitely so on the egrip.

Any issues with temp control?

--She's at 2 1/2 tanks now, same Ni200 SSOCC atty. Yeah, 25ml. Her response: "I can tell I've been using it for a while, but it's not icky." Her Protank3 attys don't make it through 10ml. I just took two big direct-lung drags. No gurgling. Nice air flow and flavor. WTH. I had to check the box to see for myself. Yup, her other SSOCC and RBA are still there.

--She hasn't been using temp control since the first day at the vape shop. They helped her set it up because she didn't want to mess with it.

--The shop gave her a baby blue 18650 to match the mod. IMR 2500mAh. She's only been charging it 2-3 times a week. Her quote: "The battery life is kind of stupid." [Stupid = impressive in this case.] Because of the color match, I didn't know until just a few minutes ago that there are a few decorative holes cut out on one side of the case, where you can see tiny areas of the batt. She's been pass-through charging, so no comments on the coin-based removal of the batt cover.

--Having a regulated box with an 18650 batt is a step up for her. Quote: "I'm getting very spoiled."

--According to another website that contacted Kanger, the .15 ohm TC coil is made with Ni200 and has a stainless housing. I really don't know what to do about rebuilds, because very soon, I'm going to have to buy something besides Kanthal for the TC, and I don't know enough about vaping with nickel. I guess there's Nichrome or Ti. Stupid advancing technology.

--I have to assume cleaning the tank will require a certain level of care. There are enough reviews out there now where you can get user feedback on any other features. As always, don't trust any reviews that are 100% positive.

Still waiting for mine to ship - in the meantime some Crowns I'd ordered arrived and my wife is now officially off the Kanger bandwagon after a solid 10 months devoted to her Subtanks...hoping the TC coils will bring her back or this new mod is DOA...

With the air flow being on the bottom one could cover it with their finger to accommodate a mouth to lung, but like others suggested I am sure a v2 will more than likely address this issue, so waiting is probably the wiser choice.

You could do that, sine that's where your finger would be on another mod.

I've had mine a couple of days and love it!

Even though it's kangers first tc device, functions extremely well. It works super consistently and it makes the coils last way longer. I've had my nickel coil in there since I've had it more than 2 weeks ago

Have you tried a dry burn test with it? (Using the RDA because you don't want to burn out the coil).
