Hello all,
I have been using a Subtank Mini with ni200 coils for a while now, but lately when I mount a new coil primed and loaded, when I lock the ohm, I am seeing .32 to .34 the coils are rated .15, anybody have an idea what is wrong? Did I get a box of bad coils? Using a IPV4.

Thanks

Think thats normal. I see some variation after a few vapes sometimes...maybe im crazy...the numbers are so small it usually doesn't matter anyhow. When it goes from .04 to .93 then you worry :)

I was merely speaking in rhetoric but thank you...Thank you for quoting the ding dong who LOVES to follow me around like a little baby puppy dog...its cute and im flattered, but you're not my type dude...get off my case...these childish attacks have simply gotten old. Seriously, how old are you?? grow up and quit being a hater....

Jealousy is a stinky cologne, if you are half as good as you say (or think) you are. Then you really dont need to waste your time on me....people like you are my inspiration so please keep it up if you really want to see me shine....BUT i have no idea what you say till someone quotes you...so maybe vapin4joy can follow your lame ass around and quote when you post AFTER me....Its really sad but eventually i will be able to see what you post...then make fun of it, twice...

Much like pest spray, this forum has a great IGGY button. That i have already used on you, But much like the flies on a horses ass, you keep coming backing. I want you to know that I have reported you to the moderaters in an effort to curb this iniquitous behavior. So if you (or I) get a warning, know it was because of your friend KWTONY. XXOO

I have I come across this issue before with the Kanger ni200 coils, when it is .34 it's hot, just wandering is it the subtank base or the IPV4, I stuck with the original mod, never any trouble and yes I have the 9v charger, no trouble. I travel, the charger is convenient.

Then yes, that should be fine.
It should be the factory ~0.15 at room temp and if the mod shows the real time resistance after firing than you'll see it has risen. You do lock the resistance on that mod pre-use yes?
I do lock it at ambient, just wondering if anybody else has seen the ohm floating around with my setup.

OK guys,
Back to the thread, well after trying the coils in question in a Subtank Nano, they work just fine, .154 ohm. SO I disassembled the base of my Mini, pushed the center pin out and then the tiny white insulator out. What I found was the top of the insulator showed sine's of being burnt, that is most likely why I saw high ohms. Crap this Mini lasted all of four months, I gotta order a new base or replace the thing!

Is this PEEK Issue #2?
I wonder just how many of the tiny components actually are available retail. Good luck though... to the hunt! :)
Funny, at Kanger wholesale they are little by little starting to carry parts for the Subtanks, I saw pins for the Subtank, hopefully they will at one point carry all repair parts for their products.

It just made me curious, I'd seen some of the items there.
Have a V1 ST with the old insulator. I got a second RBA and new PEEK pieces from Sweet Vapes, but the internal might be harder to come by.
I had thought a ST "Style" from FT or some such would be an option for you but if it's a heat issue and it's one of the older materials... a clone would likely not have the better one, right?
I think Kanger wants to sell parts that cost more than a few pennies, they have just started within the past 6 months to offer replacement bases for the Subtanks, they want to sell bases. More than likely as these devices become standardized we will see more and more third party parts become available. For me every Wednesday at my local Vape shop is Vape and Share night, if I get lucky someone will have a Subtank for trade that I can use for parts. I don't think the clones have anything different, are they really clones or just unbranded real thing?
BTW Kanger has the PEEKS on their website.
