Interested in this as well. Would make Kanger able to do Temperature control on certain mods...

I thought you only needed a TC mod for the the nickel coils. What about the SS ones? Do you still need a TC device to use SS?
I was assuming that the SS coils could be used with my SUBOX Nano kit since it shows them as replacement coils. ( http://www.myvaporstore.com/Kangertech-SUBOX-Nano-Starter-Kit-Black-p/krsbl1.htm )

These are the Available Coils:
  • Kanger SSOCC Atomizer head - 0.5Ω/ohm
  • Kanger SSOCC Atomizer head - Clapton - 0.5Ω/ohm
  • Kanger SSOCC Atomizer head - 1.2Ω/ohm
  • Kanger SSOCC Atomizer head - 1.5Ω/ohm
  • Kanger SSOCC Atomizer head - Ni200 - 0.15Ω/ohm (Nickel Coil for temp control devices)

You do not HAVE to use TC for SS, it works in regular mode just fine. The Uwell Crown has a Nickel .15 coil but they also have a .25 and .5 SS coil. I used them both on my Istick 50w and its great. Def need more wattage for this tank though, i am going to order a Koopor plus 200w device tonight after i get paid. I do WANT to try SS on TC mode though which makes those coils above pretty cool but with the Kanger subtank you can just build out the RDA with SS or TI or NI or whatever. I was going to build out the RDA with both TI and SS to see how it works when i get the Koopor plus 200w.

They look more..... Normal! Not that I didn't like the giant square box coils. Kind of makes me wonder if they're smaller or displace less?

Sounds good...thanks for the info. However I have the Subtank Nano and from what I have read...the Kanger RDA will not fit in the Nano.

Thats correct I have a nano as well. Believe it or not you can rebuild the Subtank coils and use whatever wire you want, other then rebuilding a coil the SSOCC coils would be the only other option. Fair warning about SS at least in regular mode, it will give much better flavor and better clouds but it guzzles juice. I would say twice as fast as either of my subtanks...

Looks like they will displace less...more so when the top filling tanks become available

Looks like they are going to be coming out with a TC kit and top filling tank
http://www.kangeronline.com/products/kanger-topbox-nano-black-starter-kit
It's already out according to Kanger.

It's just like how they released the v2 Subtanks - release them ON a mod (kbox mini "subox" and then kbox nano) as a kit and then a month or so later release the individual tanks.

I remember back in the olden days (of 3-6 months ago) when people were complaining about how their Subtanks (v1) were leaking and the pain in the ass wicking mods people were doing; I was like "what's the big deal?" with my v2.

Now we're going to have v3. Just give it a month or two. Kanger will release the Topbox Mini, and then all of their tanks in a top fill style.

I also noticed that the Topbox kit is identical to the K-box Mini, but with a 10w higher chip and temp control. And it's selling for $10 less than the Subox kit.
