Kanger Subox Mini Battery Question

My wifes brother gave her a lightly used Kanger Subox Mini, some 0.5 coils and a couple of red batteries that the printing has rubbed off, so no numbers or anything on them. Set up works o.k., but she puffs on it all the time and really needed more/newer batteries. She mentions it to him and he orders a couple of Vamped 40 amp batteries and has them sent here. They seem to work o.k. with this rig. She runs it at 10 watts. But Ive been seeing a lot about of stuff about using the wrong batteries being dangerous. The manual says to use at least a 20 amp battery, so Im assuming this set up is o.k.?
Im not into all the "modding", "big clouds" and all that, so Im pretty ignorant about all this stuff. I started and stuck with a "pen" style. I charge it, put juice in it, and just pick it up and smoke it. No math, no muss, no fuss, lol.
Input appreciated. Thanks!

Those batteries are just fine and they are safe. I don't remember what the actual amp rating is, but I'm sure it's at least 20A continuous which is good for the full 50 watts. 10 watts for them is like having a stroll in the park :)
