Kangertech SSOCC

I have a Kanger Subox mini. The mod itself is great. However, the coils from Kangertech have sucked. For me at least. Almost immediately I get bad flavored hits. I always prime new coils. I make sure it's screwed in tight. However, every third hit is a burnt hit. Even when its a fresh coil. I'm using 0.5 ohm, and vaping 50/50 PG/VG.

Can anybody recommend some good coils in 0.5 ohm that I can use with my Kanger Subox Mini? Greatly appreciated.

What wattage are you using? I use the clapton coils at around 40 watts with high VG juice, and they work well.

I usually vape at around 45 watts. but with these kanger coils I've dialed it back to 32 or so. Less "burnt" hits at that wattage. thanks for the recommendation. i'll check out the Clapton coils.

I have noticed that the lifespan of the coils isn't much compared to the standard occ coils. I could get about 2 weeks out of the occ, but only a week or so out of the ssocc. They do a good job....for the short time that you have them.
