Kanthal dangerous in temp control?

Hi all this is my first post I'm new to the forum. I was wondering if vaping regular coil (kanthal) in temp control is dangerous?

Was just a little paranoid because still new to my ipv d2 and seemed to be firing up in temp mode with non temp coil?

No, but the reading won't be accurate at all since Kanthal is an alloy of multiple metals.

Using Kanthal in temp control is not dangerous but it will simply not work as intended.
