Kbox mini problems

Just bought a new kbox mini (white) and an aspire cleito tank. And when I go to fire it, all it does is blink at me.... The first time the battery voltage reader blinked once saying 4.4v then followed with the ohm blinking 0.4, blinked 10 times. Made sure the tank wasn't on too tight and the coil was in the tank tight. Tried again, then the battery blinked a few times like it was dead then after it finished blinking it showed almost a full battery. I'm new to this and confused if it's the battery (its an old one), or its maybe a bad coil (even though it's brand new).

What resistance coil is it? Kbox mini will not fire lower than 0.3 ohms. Outside of the coil being too low resistance I'm not totally sure.

Make sure your 510 pin is making contact with the device

I put in the 0.4 ohm coil....

I would think it's making a connection..... It's reading what ohm the coil is. Other then that I wouldn't know how to make sure it's making a connection....

Take the tank off of the mod, make sure the little 510 screw is not way up in the housing. If it is loosen it a tad and see if this helps.

Wow..... I don't know why I didn't think about doing this before.... But I just tested tank on a different vape, and still no vape..... So I'm guessing that means something is wrong with the tank??

On the bottom of the tank there is a screw. That screw usually will have a flat head. Just take a flat head screw driver and make sure it isn't all the way up in there. If it is, just loosen it up so it comes down a tad and makes connection with your device.

Fixed it!! I don't think the coil was touching the pin... I opened up the inside and pushed the pin up into the tank then put the coil in so it'd make a connection....

Awesome! yeah that would be a short. The board kicks off as a safety feature! Glad you got it going again!
