King Mech Mod with Patriot

I bought the King gold mech mod that came with an 18650 battery and the patriot, I set up my coils and wicks and chiefed on it for a solid day, the next day the coils will not light, I tried new coils 5 times, charging the battery, and even put in the coil and wick that came with the kit. Nothing is working. Does anyone have any idea why this is? Im pretty sure both ends of the battery are being touched but im not 100%.. thanks

make sure the positive pin is making contact with the atomizer.
Then make sure that there is no battery rattle (when the battery is loose in the mod tube).
If these dont work, come back with pictures.
