Originally I posted a thread asking for help choosing a TC mod. After lots of great info I found out that the Koopor plus 200w and Reuleaux rx200 are not only well priced but also both TC stainless steel coils. This is a huge thing to me as I REALLY love my Crown tank and love the stock SS coils as well. The flavor and clouds are incredible. The trade off is that the tank guzzles juice but since I DIY juice thats not much of a problem. I really wanted to get some input as to which of the TC mods above to get, both TC SS, both are around $50 (which is crazy), and both can have the firmware upgraded. I have heard great things about both, please for any owners of the above let me know how you feel! Thank you very much!!!

I watching this as well and have the same questions. From all I can tell the RX has a slight advantage due to three batteries but some may find that a negative point due to size or weight. I am leaning towards the RX but who knows where I will end up

I do like the 3 batteries with the rx200 but the Koopor plus has a great menu and i love all the options. The rx200 seems to be more of a juice and vape mod. Not that its a bad thing but i like customizing the vape. Either way they both seem like great mods that are priced really well. I have looked up reviews of both and both seem to be well regarded....
I have both coming in .. It will be interesting to see which I prefer the RX may be fine for home use I cannot picture myself running around in public with it IMHO
I prefer the triple batteries as well. Will be fun to watch this thread grow as the owners of these devices hopefully chime in

Do they both have adjustable tcr values? I think Smok/Kooper does. I don't own either one, I do like the black Kooper though.

i do suspect the case on the rx may be a hair better because its the same case used for the dna200 version
the question will be if updates are needed which company joytec or smok will be better at releasing upgrades Both so far have been excellent with the evic vtc and xcube 2 repectively

I did get the Koopor 200 and I love it. I have been using it with a Crown tank with the NI200 .15 Ohm coil and its really good. I have stainless steel, titanium wire, and an RBA for the Crown coming in today or tomorrow so I can try TC mode with those as well to see which i prefer. Very impressed with the Koopor. If I had one complaint its that the battery door wiggles a bit but other than that it kicks ass!

My Koopor plus came in today.
I have to say..it is HIGHLY impressive. Especially at it's price point. I don't see How they do it.
Anyway, as danblas also stated...so far my only complaint, If any, is just being nit-picky about the battery door. Not that I think it will go anywhere, and honestly, with the extra snug Black silicon cover on..it's not a big deal.
The functionality is pretty straight forward. And it is DEFINITELY a power house.
VERY well made, sturdy, hefty, And everything is extremely well finished.
I would like to know what future firmware upgrades may do exactly.
I have used quite a few friends TC mods...
But, being that this is my first personal TC box..and me being fairly clueless about TC, I wish the instructions were a lot more conclusive about HOW and WHEN to use these features.
Hopefully I can find a guide on here to help me understand all this, and all the jargon that follows with it.
All in all, I would HIGHLY recommend this product.
The Koopor Plus works very well but their customer service SUCKS !!!! The best part about it is the price for what you get in features and if you have big problems with it you can just toss it and buy another one without breaking the bank. My son now uses my Koopor Plus and he loves it. I have gone to SMY Products and sworn off Smok/Koopor after trying to deal with their CS. As far as firmware upgrades, you can pretty much forget it unless you want to buy their "special tool". I never understood why anyone would put a USB port on a mod to upgrade it if they are not going to make it functional. Just another Koopor gripe.

It's not an odd size, it just won't work for upgrade without their special tool. You plug it up to your computer and the computer will not see it.
It also will not charge through it ... that's just stupid in my book.
I have the Reuleaux dna200 and he koopor plus. The for factor for the Reuleaux is quite good, comfortable and easily held. The koopor is quite wide and even though I have large hands it's much less comfortable to use. The firmware upgrade ability for koopor in general is very iffy (Google the issue for details), but the plus chip has been rated as fairly accurate for SS. Both are about equally heavy, but the Reuleaux will give much better battery life. I have no experience with the Reuleaux RX Chip. Good luck
I never owned a Koopor but i had a X Cube for like a week and I sent it back. Way to many problems. For that reason I would have to say the RX. I have one and I couldn't be happier.
It is hardware !! You have to go to Koopor website and get instructions how to build it. You have to have some electronics and soldering ability.

Been using my koopor 200w for about 30min super solid device I'm.running my smok tfv4 on it and the tank is kinda getting hot but that's the only thing. It has tons of settings you can get this thing setup how you want it definitely

No experience with the Koopor, but I do have the RX200 and I absolutely love it. Battery life is phenomenal. I've never gone a full 24 hours on a single charge before with my other regulated nods before. I rarely vape over 60 watts and I'm usually around 40-50. TC works great in all modes. If carrying this beast around with you isn't an issue, I'd recommend the Reuleaux.

I did not have real good battery life from the Koopor but I chain vape especially on weekends. I have really wanted a mod that the batteries would last a whole day for me so if I was choosing from the two, I would definitely go with the RX200. I have a SMY SDNA 200 coming today in vape mail and I hope to be able to vape all day on it.
Honestly thats a great point. I have gone a little crazy the past two weeks and spent crazy money. After Christmas I will get the RX200 I got the Koopor plus though and I am really happy with it.FOR THE PRICE

Sooooo I have the koopor 200w and have to say i am impressed with it picked up a bundle deal with the TFV4 mini a set of green imrens and a pack of wicks all at just about $100 and have to say im not upset with this buy! I have been loving the mod so far... But as for battery life..... it could use some work. I alway have extra batteries on me regardless ran mech boxes forever so keeping a couple married sets on me has become a habit.
Edit: I just cant seem to get the temp control for Ti wire to work though. I guess i just dont understand what the box is telling me. after i select wire type it ask for ohms im assuming, Then it asks DC or SC and again i have no idea what any of that means! some one please educate me!

As far as DC and SC thats Dual coil or Single Coil. When you go through temp mode you enter TI then it will give you the TCR, just leave it as the default (Click the trigger) and change for dual or single coil and you should be good to go. I used TI on the RBA for my crown tank and it worked quite well. Stainless does not however, Im finding out that the TCR is set for 304 Stainless and my Crown uses 316 which is why it doesnt work. I am very happy with the Koopor as well. Even my Kanger subtank fires like a beast on it.
I've been using my Plus for about two weeks now and I'm satisfied.
There's definitely a learning curve for temperature control, especially if this is your first TC box. I can't speak to its accuracy with Ni200 or Ti, but with Crown SS coils it was definitely a challenge to get the correct TCR figured out. Maybe straight stainless works with its preset SS TCR, but Crown coils need a lower TCR than the standard .00105. Taking down the initial resistance to the Crown's .25 advertised resistance and setting the TCR between .00060-.00065 has been working well for me.
The battery life is definitely meh. It's about the same (slightly less) as I was getting with my iStick 100w with two 25Rs; I have the HG2s in the Koopor Plus. Its lacking battery life and desire (and inability) to passthrough charge have led me to, in hindsight, think that the Reuleaux RX200 and the Koopor Plus are about equally matched.
The Plus has adjustable TCR (biggest plus) and a pretty nice menu. It also has sub-par to par battery life and a wonky battery door.
The RX200 has an easy and user friendly menu, and awesome battery life with passthrough charging and is user updatable. It also is the size of a 12oz can, takes 3 18650s, and doesn't have adjustable TCR.
Pros and cons to both.

Agree with your assessment pretty much to the word. Thanks for the tips on the TCR for TC on SS though thats really good info. I read that the TCR is preset for 304 SS and the Crown coils are 316 SS.
BTW I am using the RBA on my Crown with the setting you have above (using .00064 TCR) and it works like a dream. THANKS AGAIN!!!

Handled two spanking new ones in a local B&M. Both had doors that were a bitch to get off.
Mine was initially, but after a couple battery changes it became much easier.
