Been using this bad boy for the past 2 weeks and I wanna talk about it?
Cuz I'm sick and tired talking about the RX200
LETS TALK ABOUT THE KOOPOR
Cons
Battery door
Fire button delay/not a big deal for me
Heavy...
Pros
Cheap
Solid
Quality/except the battery door
SS,TI,NI,power mode, lots of configuration and option...
Over all I like this mod, it's part of my daily rotation, I mainly use it when I'm driving LOL, I think the delay is for DRIVING...it's cheap and all options included when it comes to temp mod, the door is just annoying, even with the silicon cover, mine moves!!!
The screen and fonts are OK
SHIT, after using the fuchai, I really think big fonts and screen will be the thing for 2016... The rx200 v2 will probably have a bigger screen, who knows....

It's gonna take a while for me to get over the Mini upgrade debacle. Koopor is on the shady list for now.

I absolutely love mine but your right, the battery door rattles and moves. It's annoying. Otherwise I'm loving it.

Must be the luck of the draw. I agree with the op with the exception of the battery door, I can only get a slight rattle if I really shake it hard and in normal use it doesn't move at all without the sleeve. Love mine and it's in my daily rotation.

you all have defective units
my battery door will not move its a pita to pop off at times, it secure as secure can be.
Sometimes i lay the koopor on top of my 3li wih the battery door of the koopor resting on the 3li and when i pick it up it picks up the 3li with it and the door does not move.

but teh delay is cause of the menus. it so it knows if you are doing a menu press or a fire press.

but in ewill fire then stop and restart firing. Ive watched the puff timer to see this
happens about every 100 pushes of the fire button....annoying...but for everything it has...and i paid 35 shipped...I aint complaining.

Ive only tried TC with my crius and a SS build and I do not like it. 400F on it felt hotter then 572 on a ni200 coil on my ipv devices. MIgh tbe me and my build. I will try some ni200 coils in a crown or maganus on it one day to see.

i like t\he way the watts scroll on it.
i like the way the _ and + buttons are reversed compared to a ipv mod...it makes more sense in my brain for this configuration

ONLY THING I DISLIKE is ou can not set watts and temp in TC.

to me its the best mod of the year for the price. And its gonna take something magically to come along to beat this mod.

I will 3rd on the battery door rattles a little. Besides that I think it awsome. I'm using vtc4's and go almost 2 days before switching batteries. I might have a cure for the rattle, I have some felt tape at work I was going to try on monday. As far as the delay, check your ramp up setting and try setting it to max.

the delay is intentional according to koopor
remember when you are pushing the fire button for the menus, holding it in for a second or so acts like an enter key but when you just click it scrolls the options
well instead of giving it two sets of variables or whatever 1 for menu mode 1 for operating mode...they didnt
so there is about a 1 second delay between pressing the fire button and the mod actually firing
but then again while in operating mode
3 quick clicks give syou the menu and 5 locks it. so it makes sense yet on ipv mods they have no delay or its so short you dont notice

however i have encountered something different
press teh fire button 1 second late rit fires for 1 secon then it stops firing for one second then it starts firing again. i have actually watched the puff timer go up stop reset and start again. like i said happens maybe 1 in every 100 pushes of the fire button and for $35 i will not complain.

I purchased a Koopor Plus, last night, after a couple of weeks of researching and deliberation! And, completely out of character, I chose the red version. Can't wait.

I discovered why my koopor plus seemed to fire then not fire then fire again
it is the damn fire button itself
that coupled with my wrap which was not on quite right.
the button needs a good amount of pressure. but every once in a while i would relax my finger just barely. not enough that I realized i was, but it was enough to disengage the button and not realize it.

so far thats my only gripe is how much pressure the buttons really need. the amount is not insane, but could be lighten a bit imho.
i stil havent really bothered with exploring the TC of this device. I will eventually
but it is my all day device with my d2 and 3li getting less and less use.. But i think that has to do also with my crius being on my koopor and how much i enjoy the crius

I like heavy, and stainless!

This is one of the better reviews I've come across on the Koopor plus. I really like that he disassembles the mod, which, by the way, does note the buttons on the PCB.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJcAbtv1Htc

As far as button rattle goes, it looks easy enough to add something between the mod's button and the surface mount button, below. I'd be interested to see the difference between one that does rattle and one that doesn't. The only thing I can think of is that the actual button, itself, on the surface mount, is maybe shorter in those that rattle, and longer in those that don't... I doubt this will be around forever, but for now here is an example of what I'm talking about is here. Note the different lengths of the buttons. Otherwise it would have to have something to do with the PCB board and it's distance from the external buttons.

I also went through the Mini Update debacle and was so sick of trying to reason with those idiots at Koopor. I had already ordered the Koopor Plus before I tried to update the Mini. I swore off Koopor/Smok products after that and gave the Plus to my son. He likes it but he is young and can carry the weight of that beast. I will admit I broke down and bought a TFV4 because of all the hype around here but wasn't really impressed. No more Koopor/Smok products for me. The Plus seems to function okay for what it is, a cheap high powered brick with fair performance and so far pretty dependable. The Mini died not to long ago and I trashed it because I was sick of dealing with it.

The fire button definitely needs to be pressed with some authority.

There are some that say there is a delay, but I think if you push the button with a bit more authority you shouldn't have any delay. Light presses are for accessing and scrolling the menu, authoritative presses are for firing.

something like that. Th delay if any is under 2/10s of a second.

In all honesty...Ive been lucky lately and havent dropped this mod or done anything with it. Maybe its the weight. ON a lighter mod I forget about it and this weighing more I remember its in my hand and hold tighter. Either way I havent abused this one like my 3li. But I suspect it will hold up the same as my 3li.

Also all this talk of rattlng buttons, battery door issues etc... that may be true on some of them but not mine. Mine is perfect.. SO there me be some QC issues at the factory or the first runs arent as good as the later runs.
As far as the whole update thing. They havent released on, they havent said how it will update, and I dont think it will really need one. It can do everything except access software like escribe to customize it. Try to go above 200w on 2 18650s - aint gonna happen. SO unless their is some new feature that you have to have that is not even being talked about now, an update should be unnecessary.

I paid 35 shipped on BF best 35 on vape gear i have spent. Hell before I knew better I spent that much on an ego pen battery that died in 2 months.

If i needed another mod - I'd get another koopor plus.

the only other mods so far that peeks my interest is the IPV5, which full details arent even available, but since its IPV and I love my 3li and d2 I am curious about their newest model.

The price i keep seeing for a new koopor plus is right around $45. your not gonna get better for $45 even the rx200 is not as good IMHO. unless they have updated it to allow you to change the tcr. if they do that, and the fact Ive seen teh rx200 going for around the same price....then its a tough call which is more worth it. So unless you want a dna200 mod the koopor plus would be my recommendation

I haven't had,a lot of time to form a solid impression yet, but so far I like it. I am still figuring out the menu. It's true, it's bulky. Not a device to use in the car. LOL. I'm hoping I'll get good battery life. TC seems to work ok with the crown SS .25 coil for me. It's a pain to scroll to turn the thing off, but so far it seems like it'll be a good device.

Yes, I've figured out the lock and unlock. I'm still leery of leaving anything turned on when I'm not attending it. I do notice a firing, delay, but it doesn't bother me. Aside from it being big and a bit clunky, I'm liking it so far. I haven't experienced any issues with TC yet. Yet being the operative word, I suppose. I've used it less than a day. I have a feeling the evic mini will be my go to in the car and the Koopor Plus at home. Evic wins for comfort in hand, but Koopor will have the battery life edge, I suspect. And as MrScaryZ said, it could probably double as a weapon. LOL. The old brick in the purse. ; )

Like what I said the Koopor is a heavy accurate delayed firing device, it's perfect for CLAPTONS, with the ramp time you won't even notice the delay, here's where I use my Koopor

I'm loving mine, but just got the first sign of trouble. The display disappeared. Five clicks will get the little padlock display, and another five will show it again unlocked. But then black screen. I replaced the batteries and got the welcome display, but after that, black screen. The mod works just fine, no difference in performance, but I have no display of wattage, the battery meter, nothin' unless I lock it or unlock it. o_O?o_O?o_O?

I'm not sure how he does it but my son gets his in stealth mode all the time. It took him a few times to get the hang of getting it back in display mode.
