Yes, it does, but after a while it stops if you don't view the thread.
I posted in the Alternate Universe thread a while back and never went back. It stopped alerting me after a while. Posted again and after a while it stopped alerting me again. Same with several other threads.

It just does my head in at nyt i have a hard enuff time getting to sleep as it is at the moment with my injured back and if i forget to put my phone on silent it always seems to get me just as im dropping off
