Good to hear you got your permit. I had never heard of a learner permit for CDL. When I got my CDL it was just a open book test and pay the fee. That was in 1979.
things have changed plenty since 1979.
test is on a computer with a touch screen, can skip questions to do later, once you get 80% of the questions correct the test ends and you pass, even if there are still unanswered questions. Or ends and you fail once you get 20% wrong. Can take it once per day though and 3 times before needing to pay for a new permit. Then you gotta wait a week or two before you can do the road test. Air Brakes are a separate test as well. Plus, nowadays gas costs more then a gumball and we don't have to crank start engines. Hazmat has gotten really strict since 9/11, and sometime this year, the test is being restructured to have more questions. Doubles and Triples will need their own road test later this year as well.

figured I would clean my closet a bit and organize my vape stuff.
Until now it's been sitting in numerous piles and cardboard boxes.

Couldn't find my coil master coiler last week when I wanted to make new coils.
It wasn't in my tackle box with the kanthal and other rba stuff.
Looked all over my computer desk and in the boxes of DIY stuff but couldn't find it.
Last night I ordered a new one, I just found the old one sitting between two of my computer monitors, in plain sight.

Mom had traded in her Ford Explorer in Feb for a newer model. Assumed the dealership would scrap it. It was starting to nickle and dime, it had 210k miles on it, the catalytic convertor was starting to go bad, and the drivers side door was messed up (bent partially backwards by a tree).
Saw it on the road last night. Really suprised the dealership sold it again.
Could tell it was her's by the drivers side door and the bit of work I did to it so it would open all the way again.
Dealership had given her $700 for it. Can't imagine somebody paying much more then $1000 for it.
