343 Industries is removing Orion, Halo 5’s most-hated map.
Since the release of Halo 5, Orion has been plagued by player-exploits and it has been hard to fight out of spawn points. If the map in question has made you rage, help is at hand.
“Additionally, based on your feedback on map variety and rotations, we’re making a few changes to existing playlists to improve variety,” says 343.
“To start, we’re removing Orion, in its current form, from all playlists so that we can take some time to remove and patch map exploits as well as make additional improvements to the map before re-adding it where appropriate.”
It’s not only Orion 343 is focusing on. Moving forwards, the team aims to tackle other multiplayer spawners as well as any new exploits should they arise.
