My Istick 50w leaks onto the battery casing when reconnected after filling. Why does this happen and how can it be fixed?
EDITED TO ADD:
Make sure you don't let juice leak into your iStick 50. As in don't use this tank if it's leaking. Alot of problems / controversy about this mod and although I never had any problems with the two I owned, alot of reports of juice inside rendering the mod unsafe / broken.
Well it could be alot of things. First off take and take the tank apart as far as it will break down and inspect to see if all the o rings and washers are in place and in good shape. Pay attention to the little o ring at the bottom of the coil that you screw in to the base (or press into the base in some cases).
Wash everything and let it dry then reassemble.
When filling the tank do not overfill or get ANY juice down the center hole (chimney), there should be a small air bubble at the top when you put the base back on and turn the tank right side up.
Finally while reassembling take care when tightening parts you don't over tighten and smush any o rings.
If you don't have any luck after trying this I highly suggest you get a different tank. Judging by the one in your picture it is fairly old and probably has old worn or missing o rings or seals. I would recommend the one on the left in
@Huckleberried 's post since it is an updated version of the one you have in the pic just make sure you get one that DOES NOT HAVE NI200 coils. You want the Kanthal coils for the iStick 50. Also highly recommend Aspire Nautilus tanks and coils which are reasonably priced and highly available for purchase.
Good luck!
