So the time has come to replace some batteries. With sonys being scarce and expensive I was wondering which are better? They will be going in a few DNA devices and an ipv.

Lg has a new cell out now, the HE4, so most would choose that over the HE2.

The lg's and the Samsung 25r seem to me to be pretty equal in performance. I have both, and wouldn't be able to tell one from the other if I didn't know which was in my mod at any given time.

That said, most here seem to prefer the Samsung over the lg's. YMMV

I tend to see more cheap deals advertised on the Sammies vs. the LGs, but you can find either for under $6 and, like others have said, performance is pretty much on par with one another.

I have both HE2 and 25R and I can't tell them apart while vaping. If I have a 0.2 ohm build on a mech I usually use a VTC, but both of these work well for that too.

A couple pairs of Samsung 25r's I purchased last fall seem to already be dropping charge fairly quickly. I bought a pair of the HE4's and I like them so far, but any cell that holds the charge wins at this point.

The HE4 from what i understand is just capable of handling a little bit more heat...otherwise its the same as the HE2

Im liking the Samsung 25R's so far...I have an Efest 2500 purple also that is supposed to be an LGHE2 and i really feel i get slightly better performance from the samsung in that they tend to last a little bit longer before i see power starting to drop off on my mod battery displays.

You can get the better Samsungs for less than 1 dollar more..As its very difficult to tell performance apart, there are some better performance characteristic with the samsungs...For one i own LGHE2 batteries which perform great but i do notice the samsungs taking slightly longer before you notice the power dropping off on the battery meters on my mods.

Another performance improvement even though it probably wont matter is the samsungs have a much much higher amperage burst rating which is 100w..Mind you this is for a split second but its there none the less...the LG HE2 is a 35w burst.

Samsung is a pretty high quality company ,so for less than a dollar more, what the hell...I'll recommend the Samsungs all day long.

Check out liionwhosale.com for the best price you will find on either battery you decide to go with.
