Just ordered a pair. Any thoughts from you guys? Everything I've been able to find said they are comparable if not a tiny bit better than the he2 and 25r and efest (which I'm currently using).

I won a set on Mod Envy. They are a bit better the the HE2 and about comparable to the 25R. Some vapers have complained that the 25r's don't last as long or give as good of a toot on mechs. At a local B&M, I cut the wrapper off a guys 25R battery and determined it was a counterfeit unknown. That might be the issue. The owner of the B&M took 10 random samples from his stock and 4 of them were fakes. That's why I only get batteries from one or two places I know sell legits.

Ya. I might cut the wrapper then and see what I get. Vapor Joe posted about it on fb 2 for 10 so I figured for 10 it was worth a shot. We'll see what I get I guess. Should have them by Saturday

I'm using the 35a purple efest right now and I like that battery. So if it's a step up (If it's legit) then I'm sure Ill like it.

Efest rewraps other manufacturers cells. While they are good quality, some times the cells are unknowns.

The LG HE4 is my preferred battery in my regulated mods. I have several and I get better performance from them than I do the MXJO's. There are several good deals on the HE4's on Ebay.

It'll be used in my nemesis mech. Good to hear someone uses them and likes them though

Ok so I got my he4's yesterday. They are pretty good. Got them charged up and tried them both for a little bit to see how the vape. Not bad. Going to have to say my 35a efest is better though. These give out a nice consistent vape however from my experience with the two the efest gives me a warmer quicker ramp up than the he4. I'll try to see how long I get a consistent vape compared to the efest but so far I'm still leaning towards the efest. Couldn't beat the deal though. 2 he4's for 10 bucks free shipping.

How old are your "35amp" efests? I ask, because up until recently they were just rewraped lg he2's. Give those he4's a few charge cycles before you make any conclusions.

Also, those efests are not 35 amp batteries, regardless of what is printed on the label. They're a 20amp CDR cell. If you've been around more than a moment you probably already knew that, but it's worth mentioning just in case.

It's only a couple months old. May not be a true 35a but it has way faster response. I'll give a video soon if I can get one to upload.

a more accurate way of telling an age of a battery is how many times its been cycled.

No idea how to get that info. But I have given these a few cycles now since its been a couple weeks rotating them out with my efest and I still see way more power from the efest. It's a very noticeable difference.

Strange. I have HE4 and efest 2500mAh I use at 70W in my Sigelei 100W. There's not much difference between them. Used the HE4 in my Nemesis too with good results, just not quite as good as 25Rs.

25R, for me last longer than both of them but not by a huge margin.

It's possible you got some cells that aren't quite right. Seen a post where Jon from liionwholesale exchanged some cells because they were dieing quickly. Replacements worked fine (sure it was Jon...).

Give another set of OEM cells a shot next time. 25R are highly decent. Never tried my efest in my mech. At 0.2ohms I'm not going g to either. That's not an efest bash, just honestly don't trust them. If others do that's fine.

Try Jon (see above) for some 25R when you need more cells, if you're in America he's a very trusted seller. I'm in the UK so the shipping cost isn't worth it for the quantities I buy.

Well with your Sigelei it's regulated. I'm using a nemesis with a build at .24 so it's pretty noticeable for me. What's the best way to upload a video on here? I'll try to get one up.

Like I said, I'm using a nemesis too. Three copper Nemesis to be precise. All running 0.21 and lower.

Best way is probably YouTube.

Which efest are you using? The 35a? (I know it's not a true 35a but it sure feels like it compared to my he4)

I'm using the 35A 2500mah. I ha e a pair with the original light purple wrap and a second set with the newer darker purple. The newer also state 20A continuous discharge. They still state a 35A pulse which is false, but at least they're learning.... Slowly :)

They are good cells. Actually bought the newer version first then got hold of the earlier ones to compare. Never used them I a mech, they're married to my series Sigelei 100W so not a great idea for me to try them. I guess once to experiment, or in a dire emergency would be ok, but if I were to start using them in a single mech, they'd never go into my Sigelei again.

I paid £9 for each cell (roughly) so that's £36. For that outlay I could have got 12 25R instead. I was curious to see how they performed though, and thought it hypocritical of me to advise against them if I haven't even used them.

That's crazy. There's def a difference in ramp time for mine.

Yep, Vape shop prices here are stupid. One of the reasons I don't understand people buying efest etc, over here they're a complete rip off. I can get 25R, various LG and also genuine VTC4 for £5 each, which is good.

Not sure then bud. Just rebuilt my Tugboat, 24AWG 5 wrap 2.5mm. Ramp time doesn't exist for me, it's awesome.

Maybe try a different source for them next time. I've seen several examples of cells that are working but not quite like they should. Not dangerous, just as if they've degraded slightly. For example storing them above 20c can effect their shelf life. Not an issue here in England, but a lot of parts of the US stay well above 20c even during spring and autumn. The HE4 is also a 2013 cell. Some may have been kicking around for coming up to two years now.

Like my 25R more, that's for sure though. Can't get that thought out of my head....

Definitely. If I weren't getting on with HE4 I'd try something else too rather than risk it not being the cells I've got that are "bad". Don't want to throw more money at something you don't like. 25R imo are the best vaping cell you can get for capacity, safety and load handling combined as a package. Trying to get hold of the newer green wrapped ones for my XCube 2.

Ya I built dual 4 wrap Claptons and my he4 just acted like it was too much for them. Also drained them way too fast.

I knew it. They are fake. Is the bottom of your battery completely flat or is there a small bevel

Completely flat mate. All LG cells are flat bottom - with four points of contact for the +.

Well for 10 bucks it was worth the gamble I suppose. Still kind of pisses me off though.

If they do have ridges on the bottom be careful dude. Don't need me to tell you not to use them in your Nemesis, who knows what their amp limit is. I'm guessing it's a Panasonic maybe, probably 10-12A. Might even be Chinese made unknown.

Recycle them mate, would be the best way or if you have a torch, use them in that.

Head to liionwholesale.com next time you're in the market for some. They're cheaper there too. Jon is a sound guy. I can also vouch 100% for fasttech and Gearbest. People think they're clone sellers, and they are but their cells are 100% genuine, and you can get two HE2/4 for less than ten of your finest US Dollars. Get all my cells from fasttech as most UK retailers are over priced.

Stay safe friend!
