I wanted to screw around with a twisted coil and see what I could do. But, I'm having the hardest time locking it down to the deck. Any tips for this? Using the TFV4 single RBA deck.

Try taking the screws out completely, then position your leads and put the screws back it. Also, what gauge wire are you using?

Oops - I was looking at the double deck.

Is this what you have?

Yeah, that's it, problem is I was using 24g Kanthal, it was too big to go into those holes (was thinking about drilling them a bit larger). I have some new wire coming but was looking to play around with things while it's on it's way. I have some 26g which I twisted and put in the dual RBA and it's working splendidly but I wanted to make a vertical in the single. From what I was looking at, while I can do that with the 26g twisted, it's only 2-3 wraps to get the resistance I wanted, where I was hoping for 4-5+.
