LOL, that is a much cleaner mod, parallel build, i would still add a mosfet and a DVM.

Really the bare soldered leads from the switch look like a dead short to the batt when that box is closed up. If you had some good electrical tape may get a good vape out of it. Just dont shake it to much.... ha. Talking about the original ebay pic.

My opinion comes from being an electronics tech then engineer... Not from 'modding' or the 'internet'.. you wanna use stripped stranded copper wire, fine, its your call.. but you DONT use it in something you want to sell..

Dont give a damn how many nice pics of mods you post. You claim stripped wire is good for battery contacts, that negates the pics

Old thread and back and forth aside the sad part is that mod that was for sale was back in the day probably kickass to vape on. Thats the kind of stuff we used to make before VV was even available. That said the insides make me puke in my mouth a bit just looking at it.

Radioshack specials used to be all the rage and vaped pretty damn fine when ego's and sticks were the only real choices. Hell I think I still have like 4 of them in a dusty box somewhere.

I've never seen so much lynching within the community. Perfectly reasonable to message the kid and let him know that he's putting people in danger, but to hang him on the cross like that and potentially get his paypal and ebay accounts locked for selling "dangerous weapons"?

None of us are stupid enough to buy or make something like that, but we're also not here to police the vape community. ECF tried that and that's why that place was a failure from the start. Let stupid sort itself out, there's no better lessons than living and learning.

Now before someone starts to lynch me for this statement, let me reiterate what I said-
Messaging the kid to tell him that he's putting people in danger was the right thing to do. And the kid was decent enough to take down the listing. But some of the other stuff I've seen in this thread, wow, please don't ever take interest or get involved with politics or law enforcement, because they're always looking for people like you and that's why this country is headed in the direction it's been taking over the last few years.
