Looking for a new mod

I am in the market for a new duel 18650 mod. I had the ipv vesta but the dam thing can't keep a steady ohm and the door always pops open. I want something similar in size to the vesta. I don't want the sig kaos. My wife has it and I don't like the cheap feel of it. Any suggestions to a small duel 18650 mod? If all else falls I will just go with the battlestar. Thanks

Update to the Battlestar is the Charon. Aspire Speeder and Minikin 2 also on my list, if I find a good Labor Day sale.

I see very few reports of problems with Smoant mods. I have a Battlestar and a Kaos. Battlestar is lighter, and classier, and has much more air venting. Kaos has better battery life of the 2, the only advantage. Kaos can run tfv8 for awhile. Battlestar is for my mid wattage tanks.

It all depends on how much you want to spend. Are into temperature control or wattage mode.

These are just some that come to mind. I did reviews on most of them here.

I have seen the Charon and just to big for what I'm looking for. Want something that fits good in the pocket and hand.

Trying to keep it under 75. I'm looking for a everyday mod. I'm really leaning towards the battlestar but wonder how durable is the paint on it. That revenge looks nice to might be a contender.
Battlestar is a great choice as a knock around mod. With a good Labor Day Sale you could probably get 2 for $75.

There is no paint on my Battlestar that I'm aware of. It's the Copper version. Although I hardly ever put a mod in my pocket unless I'm wearing a jacket I just checked it fit's in my pocket just fine. As for a recommendation for the Battlestar I'd give it two thumbs up !...

My only worry about the battle star is if it fires or turns on in my pocket. With the button facing towards the outside of your pants. I have had a mod in the past turn on and fire in my pocket

5 Rapid clicks on the fire button shuts it off. Same way turning it back on. Pretty much a industry standard with regulated mods.

That's a valid concern and applies to a host of new mods with the firing switch on the front instead of the side... Boxer, Wye, Minikin 2, too...
