Smaller than billow v3 smaller than Griffin 25mm , boreas is just under 2 inches to top not include drip tip an under just 5cm tall not included the drip tip , including drip tip 6.5 cm tall
As long as it's shorter than the smok tfv4 it'll be fine, just don't want a tank that looks like a big dick on my mod

it's pretty large tho. but it's pretty proportional for it's size, so it looks decent for a big tank.

here it is on a sig213

Sorry to say but that huge modfather is ugly as fuck lol please tell me that you don't carry that thing around. I'd rather smoke cigs than have to lug that ugly beast around homie.

I'm in the market for a new rdta & you've sold me on the billow v3 tho. Prob gonna pick up that petri rta too. Love the aesthetics on that tank. Not too crazy bout the gold but looks dope overall & I'm digging the post less build deck

Holy Shit... Thanks for the replies. Do the Boreas and mod father have huge air intake. I don't like restricted airflow tanks like the smok tfv4 or the billowV2

can't speak for modfather, but Boreas has plenty of air. it was my favorite RTA for a while until i got the Limitless RDTA and Limitless+. then i put down my Limitless' for the squonkers. :)

Yes tbey do but mod farther its twice price of tbe boreas

I have both and open both up and you have huge air flow. I love the options with the Modfather. The series deck and the short and tall kit is awesome. Love them both, the options with the Modfather though pushes it to the top for favorite tank for me.

Even the Modfather was made in China..... They made boxes of the parts and sent them to America...... Here at Modfather Inc they quality controlled them and put them together......

That's why they advertised assembled in the USA.......

The iJoy Tornado is worth looking into. As far as building and wicking goes it's basically a big moonshot with a regular two post deck. I just got one last week and it's my new favorite. I love this style of wicking because it's simple and completely leak free. The tornado and moonshot are the only two tanks I have that I'm completely confident in pocket carrying or laying them on their side. Tornado has huge airflow in the standard version, and they sell a top airflow kit if you want even more.

Supreme is a good choice also, though you'll want to get a different drip tip. The one that comes with it is crap. I got a friction fit tip from ebay and it increased to airflow quite a bit. That's basically my only complaint for this tank. A griffin 25 style widebore would have been perfect, not sure why they went with the standard 510.

Not everyone is a fan of Smok. Over all best I have used Smok RDTA. Nice big easy build deck not complicated at all. Are kinda hard to find.

i was strictly using RTAs and RDTAs for over a year, until about 2 months ago. that's when i tried my first squonk :) now my tanks don't get much love. neither do my regulated devices. i also quit using mechs over a year ago. not anymore.

@LuTang I just ordered one of the SS Coppervape's from FT yesterday to complement my 4 REOs and may get the brass one as well. What attys are those and where did you get them? I'm always on the lookout for good BF attys...

I travel a lot for work and my REOs are my go to air travel mods. I just don't trust a tank with air pressure changes and jostling around from air travel in my backpack.

@gopher_byrd, the left atty is a NarDA clone with cheap diamond bell cap. the NarDA clone is easy to find, but don't know where to find those bell caps anymore without ordering a mass amount. the other atty is the Split Atty clone. i got that one from GearBest. it's the SJMY clone. it's very nice.

the Split comes with BF cap, the NarDA i had to use a bf pin i ordered from FatDaddyVapes.com . it was like $6.95 for 3 bf pins or something like that. had to swap the pin adn then sand down the head of the 510 a bit so there was no gap between attty and mod.

Said you'd like it , the boreas is a beast , the bottom fed deck side airflow just like an rda , but will drink a lot of juice, ive got both blk an ss , ss looks good with gold ring on blj looks better with ss air ring on ,
I'm love side airflow rta,s at moment , from old to new. Bellus , boreas , aromamizer supreme , modfarther , yeah tall tank it looks ridiculous ,im trying my best to get hold of the shorty kit ,none in stock anywhere even said to modfarther inc usa.
I would pay extra for shipping to uk , an they said wait shipping to much , , i use the normal size tank only tried the tall see what its like , Normal size its dam nice ,
Tall kit not something id use out side the house ,
looks stupid but dont need filling for a day an half , billow v3 plus , bellus boreas used daily still, love for my old faithful rta,s been good to me billow is great for custards an such bellus for fruits an lemonade , an the mod farther supreme used at home they good with all ,
I went with some tiger then juggernaut coils in Boreas an wow it produces some great flavours am huge clouds but huge clouds means lots of drinking juice, Glad i mix my own need to with these ,

Close afc
Open top
Fill below the top about 2 or 3mm below
Close top and flip upside down.....
Wait until the juice from the bottom of the tank flows to the top, remember top is still upside down.......
Now the tank should be full because you left room for the juice to flow from the bottom...

Now open (1) hole and flip the tank straight....

If you filled correctly nothing should flood out..

If you filled it too much the bottom juice has nowhere to go now that the tank created pressure, so it will rush out the holes like a end of the world flood......

boreas is a top performer no doubt. but the main reason i got rid of my boreas is leaking after refills....and it goes through juice quickly. there are ways to fill without leaking, but it shouldn't be that hard. one of them is bottom fill which defeats the purpose of top fill convenience. i find the Limitless+ to perform just as well, but less finicky.

I flip it upside down so the juice flows, then close off the jfc, turn it over and fill. Then turn it back upright and open the jfc so the juice flows to the wicks. It does good till there's about a 1/4 juice left in the tank then massive gurgling followed by leaking. Maybe it's also because I was alternating the air holes causing a flood in juice

I was gonna pick up a billow v3 but there's a sale $26 on the aromamizer supreme 4ml at originvape so it was a no brainier to grab the supreme. Boreas is nice but I don't want that headache of burping it, so pass on that.

Probably gonna pick up the billow v3 soon or maybe a Mage. I'm leaning towards the Mage cause the billow is too similar to the supreme

Boreas Burp

Close Jfc/Afc
Open top cap
Fill tank
Put on top cap loosely
Flip tank upside down
Open Jfc/Afc
Tighten top cap
Close Jfc/Afc
Flip tank right side up
Open Jfc/Afc
Watch tank bubble
Vape

Do this and the Boreas will not leak. If by some crazy chance it does after doing this it means your wicking is fucked up.

Damn that sounds like a huge hassle. Does the boreas perform that much better than other tanks for it to warrant that much attention? What do you guys think is comparable to, or better than a boreas?

It's not a traditional tank, it's more like a dripper with a big well, but I'm really loving the pharaoh and it's very easy to use and build on with no leaks. and it has enough capacity (2ml) to last me about an hour

It's really not. Literally takes 10 seconds. She holds a lot of liquid so it's not like you're doing it 5 times a day, unless you're Manny. Lol. Tbh, I do this with all my bottom feed tanks.

I'm learning to appreciate tanks that are well built. This tank is built like a tank. Good machining, threading and the large capacity means you won't need to be refilling much. And the juice holes/air holes are very forgiving. I vape between 2 and 3 open....when I chain I open it up from 2 to 3. You get great air flow regardless.

After holding the Boreas for months, I was like this thing rocks, then came the next step in evolution and I bit the bullet and got " The Modfather"...... Holy crap was I stuck in the past...... This rta has changed mine and others on how an rta should be built and perform......

the Limitless RDTA and Limitless Plus v1 made me sell my Boreas. i too think the filling procedure is absurd. i finally did get the filling method down. but having to do that process defeats the purpose of convenient top filling IMO.

So far today I've had no issues with leaking and filled it like duecesjack said to.
I'm guessing I need to forget how to wick it like a crius or Billow tank and wick it like a dripper with not alot but alot of cotton covering the deck holes

I changed the wick out of the Boreas for the first time. Five days and around a tank and a half later, It was pretty icky. I won't go into the gory details. I'm thinking there may not be a need to refill this thing though I defer to the Boreas regulars. At 7 ml, It's got such large capacity that if you are satisfied with vaping one juice it could last two days or more after filling it to the top, especially if you use another tank. Then instead of refilling it, vape it dry and rewick.

I think this is my daily driver, the flavor is absolutely fantastic. Im trying to DIY my own flavors and have 2 gallons of pure vg so the juice consumption doesn't bother me.

I enjoy simple flavors, blueberry sweetcream and strawberry sweetcream. I made a 10m bottle of 7ml base vg then added 1ml of blueberry and 1 1/2ml of strawberry 3 days ago, wife tried it and says it tastes like old school bubbleYum
