Hope someone can help me. I'm looking for a tube style vv/vw mod that takes 18490 or 18650 battery. It's for my sister-in-law mother.

I recommended a box mod and she's not interested in the shape. Looking for something similar to a provari but not with the provari price tag. She's not a high wattage vaper and is currently using an ego twist pen style with simple clearos. And setting it at 3.3v on what I assume is about a 2.4ohm coil. Looking for the mod to go up to between 15-25watts max.

I would like it to be a 22mm device because I'm going to give her my kanger subtank mini with a bunch of heads I've rebuilt to 1.6ohms for her

Any help would be appreciated. I've long since left the simple vv mods and have no idea what kind of simple mods are out there anymore

What's the budget and what's the power you want?

She won't let me or her daughter buy it for her so its gotta be inexpensive. She's 64 and has cancer so her budget is limited. Problem is she keeps buying a breaking stick egos. I told her just get a 18650 or 18490 tube mod and then she only has to recharge the battery each day. .

As for as wattage, i figure right now she's probably at 5-6 watts at most so she will never need something powerful. Maybe up to 15-20watts at most. The only reason I'm even thinking that high is because Im gonna rebuild some subtank mini coils for her at around 1.6-1.7ohms. I want her to be able to put them on a device and not have her get an error that the ohms are too low if she try to pump it up

You could go the Vamo or Innokin SVD 2.0 route. Another option is a used Provari 2.5 for around 70 bucks.

ipv mini is almost a tube shape. Its like a tube with a backpack. I bought a $6 skin off eBay and that really pretties it up.

Got my vamo clone for less than $20, works great. Slight issue with the 510 with some tanks. It's ego threaded with a ring for 510 style tanks, however the 510 pin sticks up pretty high and I have found some tanks that just don't like it. Battery life hasn't been that great but I believe that's my 18650 battery and not necessarily the mod itself. Gonna get some 3400 Panasonic's to run it eventually, pretty low amp draw with this (has an option to show amps on the display), so I'm sure for 15 watts that this one puts out (v5), that should be fine for my needs. The buttons are super loud tho, doesn't bother me but may annoy some.

Here's the review that made me want to buy the said in the first place. I dig Grimm Green!
