Looking for fa watermelon percent

I have had fa watermelon for a while but not had much luck. I want to make a strawberry watermelon. I think I have the strawberry down but not sure on the watermelon. Is that weak? I was thinking you have to go heavy on that, maybe like 4 to 5%?

Are there better watermelons out there?

Thanks for the help.

FA watermelon seems to be a weaker flavor. Therefore utilizing 4-5% should work. However, you might have to sweeten it a bit to get a riper, sweeter flavor. The strawberry should be able to help with that.

Thanks for the reply. I think my problem in the past was only using fa strawberry and not enough. Now that I have more and thanks to pavkov's strawberry creammmm I should be okay with strawberry. Props go out for that one.
I think I will try just strawberry and watermelon with nothing else just to see how that is.

I used 4% each of FA and TFA watermelon. I changed to 3.33% each plus .66% of TFA cucumber.
Additionally small amounts of pineapple, sour and wintergreen.

I did a thread somewhere and tried all the Watermelons I had and wound up with 4 to 5% being best for FA according to my notes. My favorite Watermelons are Lorann's colorless and CAP Sweet, not the double version, it is not as good. The FA is good though but a little muted if I remember correctly compared to the other 2 I mentioned.

Do you know tfa compares to fa cucumber? I have FA but have not tried it yet.

No, but I've heard good things about it. I imagine it takes less, FA flavors tend to be stronger. That's why I want to try it.

My TFA Cool Hand Cuke is 6%. I'd guess FA would be between 2%-5%.
If trying to boost watermelon I'd start as small as I could measure.

So cucumber boosts watermelon flavor?

That's what I'm finding. It's something I came up with not something I heard.
The flavor is very similar and stronger. Just a hint though.

Pineapple is something I heard long ago.

Thanks, I have something to work on. FA pineapple is touchy. In some 0.5% is too much. This should be interesting. Time for an 8 ml tester. Can't measure pineapple small enough at lower numbers.
