Josh man ...welcome to Vaping Underground bud
Picking your first mod set up like what you're looking for is always the hardest thing because you want something that will make you happy and not give you buyer's remorse a few days later...we've all been there, done that, and some of us have had multiple trips threw that vicious cycle including myself because it always seems like the day after you buy something the next big thing drops. Let me give you the single biggest secret in vape shopping....heed this advice and you'll always be much much happier with your vape purchases. Ok, here it is...
....If something came out today don't buy it till next month. If it came out last month and the buzz around the forums is good on it, not nessicarily just the reviews, than it's more than likely a solid buy.
The reason for this line of thinking is except in the world of Evolv (DNA chipsets) it seems like devices and what not comes out faster than too much Taco Bell the next morning

If you buy something within the first few days of it being out it will more than likely have a bug or a flaw in it because it's been rushed to market to be the competition's product to market and you're more than likely to have problems with a device because of it. After something has been out a month and a few different batches have been shipped over from china or if it's a stateside mod maker has had a few returns and notices a trend in the reason why things are coming back and has rectified the situation you've usually got a fairly solid device and are good to go. Look at the history of every major Evolv release and most of the high wattage box mods from china with their DNA style clone boards (and the fact a lot of those clone boards are half crap,) and even Yihi Cigar's had this kind of luck.
If it came out today, someone is going to have an issue with it and have to return it tomorrow...always wait for the second or third run. You mentioned the DNA200...yes...those boards have been released in a select circle but that's just the chipset, mod makers are starting to order them and it will be a bit before we see mods produced on either a small scale or mass produced like a Vaporshark so I would definitely wait on that one for at least 2 months to be safe and let all the bugs be worked out in.
In the meantime you just need to decide what you want out of a device and then go to a brick and mortar (even if you don't buy it there and plan to buy online,) and put a few mods in your hands to see how they feel....nothing on the internet can replace actual tactile touch of a mod. If you don't care about temperature control or limiting I would recommend the Sigelei 150....all the power you'll ever need at a reasonable price and it's a great mod, I couldn't be happier with mine and I got it new for under 80 bucks. If you want temp limiting then I would look at a mod with the Yihi SX-350J chipset or a DNA40....sure there are other mods that have temp limiting and from what I've read and seen they work (sort of,) but if you really want proper temp control those two boards are the only way to go and then decide which one is more suited to your liking and your budget.
I hope this helps a little bit, trust me bud, every time I've broken this rule of thumb I've regretted it. Below I am going to post a link to a couple of other threads here on the forum and an ohm's law calculator and the steam engine tool as well...even if you know all the info in the threads and ohm's law and what not I like to add them for the next new vapor that might come along with the same question as yours and might not be as knowledgeable as you are. Once again I hope this was helpful and if not I am sorry....happy hunting and best of luck
