So I need some help... so far ive just been wasting wire, Im trying to hit anywhere between .4 to .5 ohms with a dual fused Clapton, im struggling. Ive made a lot of coils that I like in my dripper, but for some reason I have a bug up my ass about running a dual fused Clapton.... I just cant seem to hit those ohms with a dual setup. Im using a centurion dripper for this so coil size is not a issue. Ive tried looking on steam engine but im not sure how to enter the info for a fused Clapton. if anyone can help me out Id appreciate it. I have my centurion sitting on a Vcp unregulated mod. Right now I have a single fused Clapton in, 24g n80 wrapped with 34g kanthal, 11 wraps, wrapped around a 4mm coil master at .51 ohms, and it chucks, id love to be able to get a dual going on this.

What I use for fused claptons at that register is 28g cores.

For inputting it into steam-engine, Use the twisted/parallel setting at 0 pitch, this will set it as parallel. Fused Claptons are basically parallel coils as almost no current goes through the clapton because of it's super high resistance. The only other tweak that's worth making is the Inner Diameter add the diameter of the wrap wire to what you wrap around, so if you use a 3mm rod and say 34g, you'll set that to .16 to that, so 3.16 would be your ID. That's really all you can do. Now, in my experience this is far from exact in practice, we aren't perfect but the math may be, so differences can arise.

I have some 28g cored FCs running dual at .48 on my Noisy Cricket, love those badboys.
