Alright folks
here it is. i have a Eleaf TC 60w and on that i have a Griffin from Geek Vape.
Im wanting to try clapton or alien coils just based on what im reading online.
I tried a dual 3mm 4 wrap with flat 32g A1 0.3*0.8 and it seems like im missing power.

im loving this Griffin with dual 3mm 24g K1 at 7 wraps 0.34ohm at 46w just awesome.
With 12 Monkeys juice Tropika (awesome flavor btw)
so im asking myself if i could still get better.

So the question is, Is it worth getting a new mod? IE the new Eleaf pico 75w?

And or any coiling suggestions for the Griffin.

Open to any and all suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

At least 120w..... Once you switch to larger (6) and (7) and (8) wrap coils with 3 or 4 cores you will need at least 85 to 100 watts to push ..10 to .20 ohm coils...... So to be on the safe side 120watt mod is safe but better get a (3) 18650 TC eleaf 200 watts for around $35.00 and the mod rocks !!!!

Gotta chime in and say "ditto!" I've seen the iStick 200 for as low as $27. The iStick 100TC is also quite nice. If you like the smaller for factor of the iStick 60, consider the Wismec Presa 100.

It's very compact and I love firing it with the side of my thumb..... Easy to pocket carry (rear) and very efficient in TC mode...... It is a very recommended mod !!! Cannot beat the price worth every cent.... Holds a 30mm Tank beautifully...

Look into a Hcigar VT133 (Dual 18650 DNA200). They aren't too big, provide 133 watts (all DNA200 mods are limited to 133 watts when using 2 batteries), feel great in hand, and most importantly work great. They can be had for around $80 - 90. Ecig just sold out, with their 10% off code, it comes to just under $80 shipped. I liked them so much, I just received my 6th one today.

Cheers,
Steve

I think he's budget conscious probably below $50.00 that's why I offered $35.00 options....... You guys are at $100 to $150.00 ballpark.....

the VT133 and G2 can be found between 75-80 bucks. Not sure what OPs budget is but we are below 100 for sure.

Agreed, it never hurts to have choices. The op never stated his budget so I suggested what I consider a great mod that can be had for a reasonable price. If it's over his budget, he can ignore the suggestion.

Cheers,
Steve

Since he is looking for a $35.00 Pico I thought that's the price range he wanted to be.... Just an assumption......

Not stirring anything up...... I tried to stick around the eleaf Pico price range....... Cool

Fair enough but if he's looking to pay 50 or 60, it would probably be best to shell out an extra 15 bucks for a much better mod IMO

If u want to get into TC at some point or even not, I still recommend the Vt133 or Hohm wrecker g2. both will do wattage mode just fine and grow with you as you get more into stuff. the VT is usually found around 80 when they stock up on ecig (with a 10% coupon code) the G2 is available now for 73 on ecig. (and will do TC with kenthal) I'm not sure of the differences but the hohm wrecker original (older version of G2) is only 65 bucks right now as well.

Love my Pico, any DNA 75 mod is also very good (have 2) in a dual battery the VT133 is hard to beat. Lots of people love the Cuboid and it can be had for around 40 bucks.

Unfortunately, the Hohmwrecker is not very pocket friendly, unless you have large pockets. If you don't care about TC, the Sigelei Fuchai 213 (150 watts, dual 18650, quick USB charging) is a great variable wattage device. Around $50 and can fit in most of my pockets!

A great Hohmtech device to look into would be the Hohm Slice.

Vt133 is super pocket friendly and he won't need another mod till he breaks it :)

Why not just get a different tank, a single coil, you can easily rock claptons @60 watt on a single coil, that's what i do, the only con is that will get really hot so get a good single coil rta or rda it will be a lot cheaper

This is a sweet mod for $35. And it can easily hold a 30mm rta.......

Only problem I have encountered with the iStick 200 is the position of the fire button. It is not pocket friendly...

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
I push the button (5) times and put in my pocket. Take out and click (5) times and Vape.... Very simple and I can put it in my rear pocket next to my wallet so it's really compact..... And it hits like a beast....... Nice mod.......

Yeah... locking and unlocking... I get that. I still don't like the button on the face. I prefer it on the side.

WISMEC RX 2/3. Perfect mod for $40. You want a pocket mod use it with 2 batteries, then maybe at home you want 200w pop in 3 batteries. The Griffin is a very good tank and will look great on this mod.
http://www.ecig.com/wismec-reuleaux-rx2-3.html
The only issue with that is you would need 5 batteries for basically 1 set. a married set of 3 for home and a married set of 2 for away. You can't use 2 all day, get home and pop in a 3rd. and then battery management becomes a pain. Thats why I only buy dual battery mods so all my batteries are married in sets of 2

This is true but you will need married batteries no matter what mod you buy unless it's a lipo pack. I just buy 10 Sam 25r's for $5 each and I pair 4 in 2's and 6 in 3s for my WISMEC Dna200. But in op Crew case he was looking for a pocket size mod. The 2/3 is a great size and power in 2 battery mode

The RX200 and the 2/3 even the Triade are small powerful mods and they fit in my rear pocket next to my wallet..... They can handle big attis and tanks too.....
