So I have done the research, seen what materials I need, safety measures to take, ect. My problem comes from the nicotine. I want to start off just buying the unflavored pre mixed nic juice and add flavor as needed to make it simple. I want my juice to be about 80/20 vg/pg. So I get the unflavored premixed base in 80/20.

So if I saw a recipe like hucks golden Oreo cheesecake.
TFA Cheesecake Graham 3-4% (provides fluff)
FA Vanilla Classic 2%
FA Cookie 2%
FA Meringue 0.5%
FA Fresh Cream 0.5% (Caps Sweet Cream is fine)
TFA Brown Sugar 0.5%
(All hucks not mine at all)

Assuming these are all pg base, I would just add all of them to the pre mix nic juice at the needed amounts and my end result would be somewhere around 75/25 (obviously not doing math but just to show my idea of it changing because of the flavors base)

Would that be the right way of looking at it or am I missing something.

Yep, you are correct. The PG added from flavoring will change the ratio of the base.
The nicotine content will also go down a bit due to more liquid diluting it.

If you are really strict about getting a set vg/pg ratio and set nicotine level, you will have to buy the vg, pg, and nicotine separately to mix and create the base since different recipes have different amounts of flavoring.

If you were to create a 100ml bottle of that recipe with an 80/20 ratio in 5mg/ml nic and bought 50mg/ml nicotine in vg:
8.5-9.5ml of pg from flavoring
10.5-11.5ml plain pg
10ml vg from nicotine
70ml plain vg

The version that you listed is 8.5% flavoring all in PG base, so yes, your final mix isn't going to be 80VG anymore. You can buy extra VG to make up for it, but for ease of mixing, what you've posted is correct. If you're not overly sensitive to PG, then it might be negligible. Plus, whatever the nic level is of your base will be reduced some, too.

Use an ejuice calculator instead, like e-liquid-recipes.com.

Don't forget to steep that juice, that's lots of flavors.
