So I recently removed the chips from my IPV4 and rewired it to take a single battery. I did this because the battery on my Ijust2 finally died, and I had this broken IPV4 laying around that someone gave me...
The 510 connection has been driving me crazy. Out of nowhere it will start barely firing. By barely firing, I mean you have to hold down the fire switch for a long time before you see any vapor, and that vapor is barely visible. The corner of the mod where the 510 connection is also gets very hot when this happens.
It takes a while of tweaking with loosening or tightening the screws on my RDA, or the 510 on the mod in order to get it to work again, and then a few hours later it will stop working again.
I know that it is not shorting out because I use my multimeter to test the 510 connection and it does read about 4 volts, just the same as what the battery reads when it is removed.
Do any of you know some common issues with 510 connections and how you deal with them?
P.S. I've also used electrical cleaner on the connection as well as taken the screw, felt, and spring out and put it back together, and I made some good solder joints on it.
