Sunshine!! only retreads more familiar ground from there.
Love Live! Sunshine!! is the hotly anticipated spin-off, sorta-sequel to 2013’s cultural sensation Love Live!. The original Love Live! followed μ's, a charismatic bunch of students who form a school idol club to save their school from closing down because of its lack of applicants.They go on to conquer the nationwide school idol contest Love Live!, and attain eternal glory in the hearts of “normal” girls like Chika everywhere.
