Hi,

I have a new Tobeco Supertank Mini. I replaced the flavorless and cloudless and constantly spitting Joyetech Cubis. The Supertank has awesome flavor and OK clouds, the best flavor I've ever experienced. Rich, subtle and deep. However, my battery's been lasting 4.5 hours on a Coolfire IV. I wasn't even vaping constantly. Just short bursts, somewhat frequently, at 22 watts. I used the 0.2 ohm coil that came with it. What's up with that? Anyone have this experience or any suggestions? Are the Clapton 1.8's as good for flavor? Maybe I need more ohms. I'm an MTL vaper, and the Subtank Mini is great for that. I can sip it like a fine wine without it trying to force it down my throat. Thanks.

How long did the CF4 used to last? And how does the 22W compare to the Cubis? Also how much juice are you vaping? The more you vape the faster the battery goes. And a 0.2 ohm coil will certainly use more power and a 1.8 ohm coil.

Good to know. The Cubis lasted a few hours longer with a 0.5 and a 1.5. For long battery life and flavor, I used an ADC II, but the Super Tank has better flavor.

The most flexible solution is to get something with a replaceable battery the next time you get a mod. Innokin makes a CF4 version that takes 18650s. If you run down while out and about, you can swap in a new battery (which was in a protective sleeve or box in your pocket or wherever). But if you do move up to a higher ohm coil, you'll no doubt get a longer running time at lower power. A 1.8 ohm coil will sip 10-14W (depending on your preference) and definitely last longer than now.

The only problem with my CF4 18650TC is that it's the biggest battery hog of any of my mods.( 22 Total) Works well but carry extra batteries.

Does anyone know what type of Clapton to order? Googling that for the Super Tank mini only returns sub-ohm coils, like 0.5's. I see a lot of Triton 1.8's that don't say Clapton or Super Tank. There are BVC's, but no one spells out the acronym.

I would try the Atlantis EVO 0.5 ohm coil. here is a description of the available coils. Get a dual battery mod!

Atlantis Evo tank is compatible with Aspire Atlantis coils
Aspire Atlantis EVO comes with both 0.4Ω and 0.5Ω Kanthal Clapton coils. Having coil options enables the EVO to achieve your preferred taste requirements when using a wide array of E-liquid flavors. 0.4Ω coils have larger airflow for greater vapor production and balanced flavor. 0.5Ω coils produce a more dense vapor highlighting the flavor differently. Switch between EVO coils as needed to ensure you are maximizing your vaping experience.
