Okay!awsome i only build a dual coil deck so thats helpful bigtime now i get that so if its up by 10 or lower by 10 is that safe or not or is that okay too be that way but not too high and not too low i of course want it perfected which im guessing it should always be and if not throw them away?

that's all Kenhtal wire. so no temp control.Nev mind it wasnt kanthal it was quad coil that. Gave me the prob.

a single coil should be close to the ohms on the package. for a dual coil it should be close to half what the package says

thats in watt mode. the temp there isn't adjustable. it's the temp of the board. for all intents and purpose you can ignore thatSo the coils that i used originally were ..36 ohms then the alien is .45 which we didnt have the problem with but i never changed my temp on itthisbis what it is now is there anything wrong u can see

you can't use temp mode with those coils. you need to get some SS wire to use temp mode

Demon Killer 8 in 1 Coil Pack -- Kanthal Wire Coils (Not TC capable wire)
When using dual coil decks, always use identical coils. Also remember that your total resistance will be divided by two (2).
(ie. .85 ohm coil, two coils, will show a ohm resistance of .424 ohms approx)
0.85 Ohm Clapton Coil (0.424ohm approx with dual coils)
- Single Coil start at 15-20w and work up
- Dual Coils start at 30-40w and work up
0.50 Ohm Hive Coil (0.25 ohm approx with dual coils)
- Single Coil start at 25-30w and work up.
- Dual Coils start at 30-40w and work up
0.45 Ohm Fused Clapton, Alien Clapton, Mixed Twisted (0.224 ohm approx with dual coils)
- Single Coil start at 30-40w and work up
- Dual Coils start at 50-60w and work up
0.36 Ohm Quad Coil, Tiger Coil, Flat Twisted Coil (0.18 oh approx with dual coils)

But im always in wattage mode since it doesnt give me anything in that mode but little puffs

it doesn't work in that mode because the wire isn't compatible. just use watt mode only.
if the mod gives you an error like ohms too low it means you have a short on your build.
Wow okay thanks guys didnt know that just used what was in the store like these and i like these now especially for 15 bucks for all these coils.

This is because the mod is unable to detect the temperature from Kanthal wire, and basically says "FU, I can't read what your doing"
Boom u said it i had a short then twice thats what it said originally so is that because wires loose or it was cut wrong like too short on one side and stretching to just make it on the other because thats what i thought happend.

the short is likely from a coil touching the metal cap of the RDA when you put it on
My wifes faster i have terrettes and it effects my hands not verbal really haha so she usually does it and good so when she tried it for the first time on the cheetah it like sprayed sparks on one side last night and the coil broke from the first loop/ring within a second and then held it there. We took it off replaced both and did it again and it lit up red on both sides perfectly as usual. Maybe its just harder to tighten which we noticed on the cheetah the screws tighten but never like my other ones like twisted messes so ull have like one a little higher then the other on the cheetah for some reasonbut u cant tighten it further. I think it shorted though.

yes that means that your coil is touching metal inside the tank. they need to be res positioned
Hate to say it ... this has nothing to do with the cheetah. This has everything to do with HOW it was being done. Nothing against you guys, but you simply didn't have the proper training or understanding of what you were doing. This is where the vape shops FAIL every single time.
I, and i'm sure many others here, will have no problems helping you with learning.
To expand on this --- I personally wouldn't have any problem with even doing a video call with you to help walk you through it ... if it means you will stop trying to blow yourself up, then I will help you any way possible.
Ive watched people make them before they just didnt explain the ohms and other stuff. Like i said this was the first time this ever happend and weve made over 100 of these things within just this year with no problems at all. We are going to look more into it and will let you know if we want to do it. Now i know what the ohms are and what they are supposed to be it helps a lot and about the wire. Thanks for your help.
