I'm new to diy e juice so I wanted to ask before I make this and end up huring myself. To start im making a 30ml batch at 3mg nic and 80%VG/ 20%PG and using one flavor. I have pg and vg and 100mg nic at 99.9%VG the flavor is 0/0. So I am planing on mixing
0.9ml nic
3ml PG
20.1ml VG
6ml Flavor
0.3ml Sweetener
are these correct or am I completely off? Thank you. And if you know any was to make the math easier it took a while to get this ratio.

Close - you're landing at about 30PG/70VG. The flavor is (almost always) mostly PG.

I also HIGHLY reccommend a calculator. Things only get trickier from here - and with multiple flavors, or recreating a mix later, or scaling it up for larger bottles - nothing beats a good calculator to prevent errors!

I use the PC program e-juicemeup. It's got recipes, and lets you "save as, ;etc.

Here's what you're looking to make.
(In a nutshell, if you want 20% flavor, and you want 20% PG - you don't need to add any PG!!)
You might want to start with less flavor (make up the diff with PG) if you don't know how strong it is - 20% is often pretty heavy flavoring...

Keep it simple to start with, if you like keeping things simple.
Your formula looks fine to me. Just bear in mind that different flavorings have different strengths. So while the flavor may be perfect at that amount, another may need much less. And also, as already noted above, most flavorings are pg unless otherwise stated.

Welcome and good luck!!

i've been using this liquid calculator, it's really good once you get your head round it.

when i mix 30ml i will rarely have more than 1.5 ml flavour. but i suppose it maybe depends on the flavours you are using though.
