Mall Vape Shop

So yesterday I went out with a friend and we went to the mall to just hang out and look around. I found a guy sitting in a kiosk with all this vape gear and juice surrounding him. I looked around a bit and noticed there were no prices, so I asked him how much some of his mods are, first thing he does is point to a shitty evod stick and says that's the cheapest we have for $75. My jaw dropped. Why spend 75 on that little stick when I get but a couple decent mods for that. So then i decided, being the purebred asshole I am, to ask him some questions. First was what his set up was. He answer by saying oh he doesn't vape, he never smoked so doesn't see a reason to. Then I decided to ask what his pg/vg ratios are and he proceeded to tell me they all vary, he had no set ratios. In other words a bottle that's 50/50 could be right next to a 80/20 and he had no way to distinguish them. Same went for the nicotine, seeing as there were no markings on the bottles or labels on the shelves.

This really pissed me off. This is one of those people that are in a "younger generations" area just to lure them in and make a quick buck. I believe that you can not be passionate about something you've never tried, or endured. It just sickened me.

What are your thoughts? I know people who shop there and get their vape gear from him all the time. I try to convince them to come with me to a better shop, but they just say "oh he gives me a discount so I feel obligated to stick with him."

My sister and my mom got brought into "vaping" by this mentality. They are both out well over $100 on crap juice and crap gear and they are both people that can not afford it nor can they afford to smoke.

I live 100's of miles away from them, so when I spoke to them last over the phone and told them that I quit smoking through switching to vaping they had nothing but bad things to say and didn't believe me. Moron mall guy burned them and then turned them off to the entire idea. Yet another reason that I despise going to the mall!!

On the plus side (for them!), they are coming up to visit me in a few weeks and I am going to let each of them take home a mod and tank of their choice along with any juice that I have that they like (spare coils as well). Anything to get them away from smoking is worth it to me!!

So far I have helped 2 friends of mine get away from the stores that all they want is money from you and into shops that know the biz.
