Sorry if this is a redundant post, I searched but didn't find any info. Is there a good place/site that carries switches, springs, magnets, etc... for your basic HCigar, Tobeco, clones? I was going back thru my mechs and I have a nice SS Chi You that needs a spring for the switch. Thanks.

I've heard of people using the core wire from catv cables to make their own spring. If fatdaddy doesn't have what you need. Good luck.

P.S. - might be able to still find a vendor selling "loaded springs"

For springs magnets and scews. I go to the local hardware store or rc hobby shop the auto parts store or gun shop. Buttons fatdaddys .. but if the mod is a clone chances are it is wiser to just by a new one rather than fix a broken one.

It was my first mod, and as clones go, it's pretty sweet. HCigar did good work back then (almost three years ago), so I think it is worth fixing. Besides, it is like serial number 0032...

Well fasttech also has some parts. For the Chi inparticlar they have switches and top caps. They also have some magnets and springs.

FWI, MOST clone serial numbers, ie mass produced, are meaningless as the numbers are applied randomly to the parts prior to assembly. Still it feels good when you get a low number. Eevn though number 1 may have been the last built.
