Mech Mod Suggestions?

Hello all,

I recently got my first non-regulated mod a couple weeks ago, the noisy cricket, and I really like it. So, I'd like to get a new unregulated box / tube but don't know where to start. I'm open to whatever; series, parrel, tube or box and would like to keep it at around $60 or under. I know its a pretty general question that gets asked a lot but I was hoping the mech guys could indulge with some recommendations.

Thanks

You already got the cricket, don't need series. What kind of vaping you want to do with it?
If this is something to play with high powered builds on. I would go with something parallel at least 2 batteries and protected.

If this is for pleasurable simple vape?? Get the tube mod that catches your eye with; an inset locking button, standard 510 (with pin and insulator), solid tubes (based on battery, no spacers or extensions(except for kick)). I love my $13 Brass Origin from fastech. Only issues I have with it is the number of tube segments and the switch magnets it came with, replaced those with a spring. Beyond that it got me off cigarettes 2 1/2 years ago.

If battery life is a concern and you plan to vape at say 25 watts or more. I'd go 2+ Para battery box.

@CrazyChef - checking those out, thanks. @HondaDavidson - I'm in it for the pleasure. I've been looking around at different tube mods but I'll definitely check out the Orgin. Thanks guys.
CrazyChef has Petri Lite I believe. It is above your price range but it is one of the best looking and performing tubes on the market if you are looking into 22mm tube. Petri holds the value as well.

Copper FuHattan + Seminole RDA Clone and a couple of LG HB2 / HB4 / HB6 will give you a great complete setup for less than $60

i really like the smpl for a tube. theres a ton of different clones for ten-ish bucks that are probably all good enough. i recently got an anubis clone from 3fvape. its a parallel box thats barely bigger than a noisy cricket. its my favorite parallel box right now. it was about $30 i think.

will second the Oros, that's a killer tube. The Athas is another great one if you don't mind a 26650 tube

With CSVape's sale, you can get a brass Roundhouse for $71 (free shipping)
https://csvape.com/shop/vape-mods/roundhouse-mod-kennedy-vapors/

Also really liked my Ifit when I had it. Hits hard & dead simple with 5 pieces

Where is csv sale? I think they sell Roundhouse for 119$.

the roundhouse if a great one indeed, i dont have one myself but i do own a Ruby, top notch quality / device.

Too bad csvape only have the brass left. I'd take a copper mod over brass / ss any day

viper-vape has the petri lite v2 @ %20 off (julyvip), got one and a second petri rda there

the gratest mech i have for the money is the oros v2, and have quite a few high end originals around. I just like the shape and the button on the v2 is bliss (prefer it over the ruby which is the same the roundhouse has)

If you like Ruby then you should probably get brass Roundhouse for $71. That's the best deal that I have ever seen on new Roundhouse. Ruby is a pure hybrid, which means that you can't switch your attys and you have to be sure what are you building for it since you're not able to unscrew the deck and check in on Ohm meter.
Roundhouse is direct battery to atty type of mod that you can use with atomizer of your choice. It is easier to clean as well. I don't think that you would be able to tell difference between brass and copper Roundhouse in every day use. At least I can't. It is a hell of a tube if you want 24mm mod.

Thanks for the tip. I'll check it out.

Yeah, if you want a Ruby, get the Roundhouse & a three post 24mm Kennnedy from there for another $60. Same setup as a Ruby but at a basement price

Yea except the ruby hits harder since it has less voltage drop.
