I've been vaping for almost a year now and soaked up as much knowledge as I could. Now, however I find myself with a question I can't really answer.

For the past year I've had my work setup as my vtr and a 4nine. Vtr when working and 4nine on break.

I think I want to try a higher end vw for dripping so I won't have to go sub for satisfaction, however I can't determine what I should look into. Just about every review said 100+ is way too hardcore but none ever states what the "happy medium" is.

I prefer a warmer vape with decent clouds and good flavor, any suggestions on setups?

You have a lot of options for a box mod under 100 watts.

What's your budget?

I have a sigelei 150W....granted I really ever go above 50W, I love that it is dual 18650 and has a magnetic battery door, just because you have a 100+ watt mod, doesn't mean you HAVE to run it that high, but you have the option to if you want to

The higher wattage mods also have longer battery life.

I run my Siggy at about 30 watts with a dual coil that reads 0.5 ohms and I get two days out of it.

No real budget in mind, if I don't have it now it won't take me long to get it lol. I hadn't thought about getting one of the higher wattage mods for battery life, definitely adds more to the picture than XOMG100000WATTBBQ

I've got one of the "old school" Sig 100s, the kind that came out like 3-4 months ago. Love it, to the point I haven't even opened the boxes on a couple mech clones I bought at the same time...

No way I'm ever going near 100 watts - I tried 80 once just to see what would happen, but my comfort range is 35-60ish, same as my mechs produced depending on build. I just like the extra room so I don't feel like I'm constantly maxing out my capabilities. And as UncleRJ says, dual batteries make for great run time...

I'd probably first look at the wattage and amperage you are putting out and pulling on your mech mod... then add in a bit of overhead to that amount and select a regulated mod based on that info. Myself, I'd go no less than 50w and probably a little higher just because that would help the electronics just coast along instead of pushing them hard and limiting their lifetime more.

I have to plug the ipv mini v2. Im a prior mech guy who got my feet wet with it and I really havent looked back since. Suits my needs just fine. For my atlantis im never above 30 watts, and my drippers I rarely break 50. My builds are mild, rarely dipping below .3, so ive found this does the job just fine. Price point is good at about 60 bucks, and very user friendly. Just my 2cents.
