Medium/smaller type of mod--what's good?

Hi all- I recently sold my Vapor Shark DNA 200. Came to the conclusion (realization) that I don't need all that power, I'm moving more to RTDAs, and just want something smaller. BUT, very good quality. Looking for maybe 100W or less. Want TC if possible. Smaller the better. single, dual battery, or plug in only--doesn't matter too much I suppose, unless someone can give me reason to choose one over the other--I'd love to hear some thoughts.

My thought is single battery is nice for size, but dual lasts so much longer. I have a Vapor Flask Stout that I love. I'm looking for another type of mod along those lines I suppose. I recently got the eleaf 60W TC single battery and frankly do not like it at all. I find the qaulity much more poor than anticipated.

Any ideas/suggestions? Budget--looking for close to $60 but will go up to $120 or so if the quality and performance is there.

Thank you all so very much!!

Joyetech VTC Mini. TC, 75 watts, upgradable. Too bad about your Istick 60, I really like the form factor and performance. For $23.00, best deal I've had all year.

I'll try this again. You might be able to find a SX Mini M class in your price range since the ML is out. It's a single battery mod that has TC, very good chip and build quality. I don't consider it an upgrade over the Vapor Shark but it is less powerful.

Edit I just searched Vapecrawler and the cheapest I found it was $125

iPVs are good mods. Since you said you prefer TC, I won't suggest the Coolfire IV (30w) or the iPV Mini (also 30w), but both are excellent mods (there's also an iPV Mini2, which is 70w), and a nice friendly size. Innokin is well-known for quality and good value/price; I dunno if they ever came out with a TC mod or not, but everything I've seen from them is great. Sigelei is another excellent value without having to mortgage your children.

The one I'm still interested in, and hope to be able to find later this year when I have the money, is the SX Mini M class -- everything I've read about that mod screams greatness. They were pricey at first ($200-ish) but not as much now.

My cousin got a Provari Radius she likes..being a MTL hitter she got the Kabuki tank too..uses a Nautilus coil but with slightly better airflow..its keeping her off the stickies which is good..

I'm a little confused by what you're asking was it the power or the weight of the Lipo because you don't have to use all the power I'm a Believer in it's nice knowing it's there even if I don't need it like the Smok R200 or the Laisimo L1 200 have the power (if needed) but with the two 18650 batteries aren't as heavy as a lipo if not the weight then I guess I would go with the Evic mini or wait for the Smok Nano R-Steam 80w to release. http://vapenw.com/mod-pvs/box-mods/r-steam-mini-80w-tc-mod-by-smok

I agree with the VTC Mini. I really wish they'd make it in stainless steel as they did with the Cuboid.

I'm also looking for a small dual battery mod. Had a Cuboid but found it a little too bulky and heavy. rhe same can be said about my ginormous X Cube II.

Right now, none of the available mods really catch my attention except for the Minikin which isn't available in my area just yet.

IJoy Solo mini is a nice mod. Extremely comfortable to hold, goes up to 75 watt, and has TC capability. Battery life is decent below 60W, drains a little fast above that, but all in all a good mod.

What kind of TC do you prefer? My favorite single 18650's are...

- Evic VTC Mini
- Snow Wolf 75w Mini
- IPV D2

I love my vtc mini's! Just got the sigelei spark today and damn it is tiny, might be worth a look @ $39 with a free 18650 from vapenw.

Check out my new Herakles V2 with herakles plus .2ohm 316L triple parallel coil on my AR mod with a vtc4 rewrapped in clear!20160307_174143.jpg

I also recommend the VTC Mini as the best single 18650 mod around. It's very small, but if you want something just a hair smaller with the same board, the Presa 75 is another option. It feels great in the hand, although the VTC is still my favorite.

I haven't tried it, but if you want a single 18650 mod with the same build quality as the Vapor Flask Stout then the Vapor Flask Lite seems like an ideal choice.

If you can live without upgradable firmware and stainless TC, the Snow Wolf Mini exudes quality and craftsmanship. image.jpeg

For dual battery mods I recommend the Eleaf iStick TC100, Kangertech KBOX 200.
For contained battery type, maybe the Kangertech KBOX 70.
I have all three as well as the Joyetech Cuboid, Pioneer4You IPV3 Li, and the Wismec Reuleaux RX200.
Each one brings something a bit different to the table but I enjoy them all.
For smaller size, the iStick TC100 and KBOX 200. (just sold the KBOX 70 because I changed my mind on the sealed battery concept)
For longer battery life, naturally the RX200. (heavy but worth it)
The Cuboid is nice but heavy.
Just my opinions but hope you find what you are looking for.
My old Cloupor mini is the only single battery mod I've ever used.
Before that I used about 9 different type of sealed battery types.
They are ok and work fine, but I choose Android phones over iPhones for the same reason.
I want to be able to change the battery on the fly if I need to.
(Although most phones are starting to shy away from this concept because it is cheaper for them in the long run)
