The Shannara Chronicles, MTV's adaptation of Terry Brooks' beloved fantasy book series, is heading to New York Comic Con this week, and IGN can offer a first look at a cool exclusive the network is offering for attendees. In an effort to familiarize future viewers with the main characters of the TV show, MTV will be handing out character cards for the core four.
Based on Brooks' novel The Elfstones of Shannara, the 10-episode season will follow the adventures of part human/part elf Wil (Austin Butler), elf Amberle (Poppy Drayton) and human Eretria (Ivana Baquero) as they seek to protect the world from an invasion of demons as the magical tree that kept them at bay starts to die.
