Merlin mini MTL setup

Hey,
I want to buy a MTL tank and someone suggested the merlin mini for me as it could be used as a MTL tank
Did anyone try MTL setup on the merlin mini ? ...if yes ...was it good experience ? Or worth buying mainly for this purpose ?
Comparing it kayfun mini v3 clone .....which is better ?
I saw rip's review for the merlin mini and he said that he had better MTlL experience on it than on the kayfun ...is that true ?

Probably not fair to compare the two since they are so far apart in price. I did a full review on the Merlin Mini and the Cthulhu MTL. I do not have a Kayfun so I can't intelligently compare them. Here are the links.

Gotcha, that's a different story. I have the Kayfun 3 Mini clone and while it's a fantastic MTL vape the deck is tiny and a real PITA to build on.

I just finished reading ur review on the merlin mini and i think u should ve installed higher resistance coils while using as MTL tank like 1~1.5 ohms with 50/50 high nic juice...it would ve been so different

Probably right about that. I do enjoy a restricted lung hit. I'm not what you would call a true MTLER. The Kayfun 3 Clone does vape better as a MTL tank IMO.

The Kayfun, all of them, is Hands down a better MTL ONLY tank, than the Merlin........ The Merlin is probably a better OVERALL tank though...... It will not give as good a pure cigarette like MTL DRAW vape as a Kayfun. You can make a Merlin nearly as tight ....but it will always be more airy. It like comparing a Kayfun V1 to a V5 Both great MTL KFv1 is better at MTL. They are completely different types of vape.... One is originally designed for 1ohm or more and 25 watts or less the other 1 ohm or less and 25 watts or more. Oh.... you can and I do vape my Kayfun v1's at .3ohms, but those coil and the 15 watts they runs at, probably wouldn't produce a wiff in a Merlin.
