Mesh atomizer (Taifun BT, Ceto RDA...) - Alternative wicking method

If you have a mesh atomizer like the Taifun BT RTA or the Ceto RDA, you haven't failed to notice that they run very hot and need a lot of power to get going.

I thought about this for a while, and I figured the problem might come from the mass of cotton and juice in the middle of the mesh loop, which is considerably larger than the amount of cotton and juice inside a traditional coil. It makes sense: you need a lot more power to heat up all that mass and get the atomizer going than with a traditional atomizer, and it cools down much slower too.

So I tried an alternative way of shaping the mesh strip to minimize the volume of cotton inside it, and it works great: the atomizers react more quickly when you hit the go-go button, they run much cooler and they go through a lot less juice as a result!

Check it out:

Incidentally, the Ceto RDA is also quieter and stops whistling. Miss Kitty approves :)

I got my CETO RDA as a prize.
Installation is much easier and faster than with standard coils.
The vapor – more then enough.
Again many thanks for CTHULHU MOD!
