Metro 2033 creator 4A Games announced its next project, a post-apocalyptic first-person shooter designed for Oculus Touch, called Arktika.1.
It's scheduled to launch in Q2 2017. Check out the announcement trailer below.
Arktika.1 is set in the "wastelands of old Russia" in the aftermath of both an apocalpyse and an ice age, which has left most of the world uninhabitable outside of regions around the equator. 4A Games describes it as a "big, atmospheric VR shooter" with a "dark and gritty style." It uses the latest version of the studio's 4A Engine, which the Metro series also runs on.
