What would you do? Would we all become drug dealer's and user's for ecigs with an underground manufacturing market of mods and ejuice? Just for shits and giggles. I would start vaping in public with a mod in a cup with a driptip straw. hehe

Did anyone else notice the flashlight head with a 510 connector? We're not buying Mods, we're buying flashlight bodies....

Well Its happening in parts of Australia already. In The US the Worse case scenario is BT and BP get there Wet Dream and The FDA Bans Open System Devices[refillables] and restricts the sale of nicotine solution. Then Vapers have to move to what some have called the Grey Market to get Gear[maybe-its going to be very hard to Ban Gear] and E Liquid or Nicotine Solution for DIY Liquid. Problem with Grey Market is the All's I care about is Money element moves in and purity of products becomes a big problem.

Man , thats really scary , there are at least a few States now trying to ban all eliquid flavoring , what a joke . I wish the Gov would worry more about real threats and let adults decide whats good or not good for them.

Imo, ecigs are the most effective smoking cessation product to ever hit the market and there's no doubt saves a hell of a lot more lives than it harms but of course anything truly worthwhile must be stifled by the people who have the power to do so. Damn shame , it really is

All True. I have been coming to somewhat of a new realization - I have personal experience with addiction and mental illness. Addiction to smoking is now know to involve other tobacco alkaloids besides nicotine. 1 of these acts as a MAOI Inhibitor,a form of anti depressant. I have read smoking surveys over the years stating that between 35 to 50% of cigarettes are sold to people with a mental illness. I have also seen a survey that stated smokers with a mental illness are more likely to try a electronic cigarette but less likely to stay with using them then smokers in general. I thus conclude that even under the best case scenario[no unreasonable FDA Regulation] then smoking rate in the US [which as of 16 months ago was 18% ] will probably not drop below about 10%. This is still huge and worldwide it could be enormous. I possible solution would be a reduction in price of Whole Tobacco Alkaloid E-Liquids.

Wow Roger , i also have a lot of experience in those fields and find books about it very interesting , have seen and been around all types over the years and imo, mental illness is a very very big problem in this Country and we just don't do enough about it while sweeping it under the rug.

There is no doubt in my mind real cig's have more than nicotine in them because i never freaked out and lost my mind when i couldn't vape but i have ripped apart couches and ashtrays looking for a half smoked cig to get by.

Yes There definitely seems to be self medication aspect to this for persons with a Psychological Disorder myself included. I quit smoking using chewing tobacco for 2 yrs-of course the tobacco alkaloids are present in chewing tobacco. I was also smoking and chewing 6 months ago[a first] I started trying Herbal Chew with added nicotine and 5 months ago dropped the cigs for e-cigs. I still buy herbal chew but something is missing and I end up mixing it 50/50 with tobacco chew. I am a Big CASAA Supporter as they support several THR products. My recovery from Mental Illness [or stabilization] was with a Local Mental Health Clinic that practiced Harm Reduction Philosophy.

Just pretend it happened. What would you do? I agree with your point btw. I also like where the conversation went. I heard others talk about it helping them fight drug addictions.

They put their money into personal vaporizer gear instead of hard drugs. And they still save money and are healthier and happier. WOW

I will admit, it helped me to stop smoking weed. That was my only addiction at the time. Not cigarettes...

NO need to be mentally ill [not my point] point was posible reason some folks find it harder to switch to e-cigs then others.

Right now i have enough mods and batteries to wait out glory. Ive learned how to build my own mods and stocked up on kanthal. My next phase is to learn some chemistry to mix up some of my own liquids.
Until it happens im in with the vape dooms day preppers. I'll put my supplies up and guard them fiercely. Right down to mason jars of 100mg buried in a block of ice at the bottom of my deep freeze.

Holy mother of God , four packs a day , man that is heavy . I thought i was pushing death at nearly two packs a day. Yeah, good idea to avoid pointed things imo.

That makes sense and i agree completely , some folks are stricken with genes that make them much more susceptible to becoming addicted to things than others .

For example , if you have two alcoholic parents your chances are considerably higher that you may develop a problem with alcohol if you decide to get involved with it . It's not an absolute but your odds are higher .

Two parents that are obese will have a higher likelihood of having a child who will suffer with weight issues , it's not always the case by any means but it does come into play.

Mental illness has a tendency to run in family's as well but it's very rare for all to suffer from it but there's a very good chance someone will .

Right now i have enough mods and batteries to wait out glory. Ive learned how to build my own mods and stocked up on kanthal. My next phase is to learn some chemistry to mix up some of my own liquids.

Dang man , take it easy there pal , were not at that point yet. I don't doubt for a minute that you will guard your supplies with your life and can turn ferocious if threatened so i'm thinking it's probably a good idea to let you have your space at this point .

They can't ban batteries, vg, or food flavoring. People have been doing illegal thc extractions forever, so nic shouldn't be impossible to get.

If I got wind of a shutdown, I'd probably stock up on cheap atties and mods. Make friends with some machinists q:

Problem is getting the timing right , all of a sudden you wake up and you can't get anything lol, best to stock up way before hand but my procrastination prevents me from doing that.
